why not have microsoft and sony join forces and still make different consoles? leave the games to be great for devs and just make sure youre console stands out in other ways. this gen showed that they are willing to take the -gaming- part of console to and expand on it to being a media platform. simplified is imagine what PC gamers have with dozens of builds, mouses, keyboards and shit. but its an xbox and ps... devs could even expand on the cross platform feature in their game, evolving gaming and gamers as a whole (things will feel fresh). for example call of duty could have a playlist called -Xbox vs playstation- where you are paired with only people using the same console as you on your team, and the enemy is the other console. they can stat track the matches even and show a ratio with who is winning and by how much. but hey thats just the first idea in my head

there was a game. not sure if you guys covered it or not but it was a god of war style game that had a mix of xmen origins wolverine but it was a over the top game eith lots of fighting and blood and you could kill enemies with like special moves whenever it prompt you to do so. i forgot the name and saw it on steam and it was like 20$. anyknow know what im talking about? the character you play as is like a viking/god of war appearancr or something.

I think it's pretty messed up that Valve tried to act as if they were taking the high road and not putting out a game for the sake of it when they PURPOSEFULLY left us all HANGING over a GIANT GULF OF DESPAIR. This is not like a sequel that no one asked for; it was very clear at the end of HL2: Episode 2 that there would be a continuation, and for whatever reason they copped out.

I really wish Valve would Remaster the Half Life 2 series (HL2, EP1, & EP2) and combine them all into 1 long game and remaster it all. Maybe even add in the ability to use iron sights with the right mouse button...
And then shortly after that, release Half Life 3!
