Have no man's sky devs done enough to earn back our trust?

I'm not saying that this could've been avoided easily. I'm just saying, had they labled 1.0 as No Man's Sky: Early Access, and all of the hype videos as -Concept videos- No one would've been the slightist bit pissy at Sean Murray. we'd've sat and waited patiently for the new content. that being said, I was a $60 beta tester, and was very pissed at 1.0 for over-hyping and under delivering. maybe it's because I climbed a tree with a machete in hand to hack off a low hanging branch so I could procure the funds to purchase said -Disaster- at launch, maybe it's because since NEXT launched I have logged close to 200 hours. I'm just saying, I'm satisfied with how the game turned out.

I got NMS when it first came out. Thought it was interesting for a while and played it for about 40hrs before I started to get a little bored with it. Not bad really as I never play a game for that long really. I went back to it with the updates, and I'm really excited about this game all over again. Still a nice chilling game with a lot more detail and things to do, graphics look amazing at times I have to say. I'm still not bothered about the multiplayer at all either as I know thats all some people wanted. Just seems like there is a lot more to progress on now. Well done to Hello games for not giving up on the real fans out there. Looking forward to even more updates!-

I will probably buy the game now. The problem that everyone had with this game at launch seems to be fixed. That problem was that it was released as a full game when it was essentially a Beta. It was promised as something and those expectations were not met at launch. This is exactly why Alpha and Beta/Early Access exists. Hello Games screwed the pooch and now it sounds like the full game that should have existed at launch. Look forward to traversing the universe with my fellow gamers and Hello Games get some lost points back in their favor. Only some though....

I got nms mid last year for 15 bucks, had a lot of fun, put in around 160 hours, how idk lol... The next update really brought it together and at this point I'm willing to pay for another major update, I'm talking about more ships, exocrafts, suits, and another story arc....it'd be awesome if freighters could be controlled and not be just an expensive ship to look at. Let's see where we are in a years time.

no mans sky has improved so much , they could have escaped after taking the money of buyers, but no they stayed and kept on working as people swore on them , we swhould be proud of no man-s sky , like come on learn to respect them dude, they have done alot for the game , and im sure they are gonna keep on updating the game , so ya

They definetly have my respect and full support, the game wasnt what it was supposed to be at launch but I enjoyed it for what it is while always thinking of the potential... I'm so happy to see that Hello Games are actually working extremely hard and are exploring said potential. The game is an amazing experience with NEXT.

personally I have enjoyed this game since release date and now multiplayer has been added in just makes the game so much better. but being alone in space for so long before that update was released made it very difficult for me to play because it was so isolating. oh and base building such a great update.

The photo mode is amazing, adds a whole new dynamic to the gameplay. It has turned me into an interstellar photographer and I am loving it. Very well done piece by the way, it was articulated better then I think any other video I have seen about this topic has been done, keep up the good work!

In short, no what they did was unforgivable. We should never forgive them because if we do then AAA companies will think that it's alright to release alphas and betas for 60 dollars. I'm just happy that I pirated the game instead of supporting Shaun and his team.

My biggest and only grip is that they changed the fuel type it takes to thrust. I am literally stuck on a world where it would take an hour to get to another world or to a space station.
Where I had an abundance of it before that became obsolete.
