World of Warcraft has been loved by many for a decade, and some dedicated fans have gone to crazy lengths. Here are our favorite examples Sonny: WOw although has alot of area to explore is an extremely flawed game to me the developers and unclear on where they want to go with the game they add then take stuff away and such...it seems to me they have no idea where they want to go with it and seem to cater to the worst of the worst of people you get banned for little or no reason at all...its clear to me they got tired of actually reading why people would get reported and went to an automated banning system where after a certain amount of reports no matter what you said you'd get banned...basically stopped giving you a reason...so you're better off saying nothing to anyone at any time because its not what you do or even what you say its catereed to a bunch of bullies who if you say you like yellow better than green ten people report you and you get banned.. the people in this game are absolutely horrid i have never met worse people in my life and until i played this game had no ill will towards anyone but it gave me a bad view of americans for awhile then i stopped playing and things got normal...now if i play (which i rarely do) i dont say anything and play for maybe an hr or mostly less just check sales and logoff.. people go out of their way in this game for you not not have fun or experience the best stuff. i wouldnt reccomend this game to anybody and in fact im embarrassed to even admit i play it to anyone i know

I dont know if i can call this crazy, but in my case, im currently (as of this writing) a LightForged Draenei so i can get the Heritage armor. However, after seeing a friend of mine get it so fast due to him using Heirlooms, boosts and whatnot, it felt cheap, so i decided to do something wild.
As of this writing i am level 90, and i leveled up, without any armor, and if i need a new weapon, i need to craft it. And also get this, NO questing is allowed. So if i want to level up, i need to grind my way through the game in the slowest speed. If i need trinkets, rings and a neck? I may either ask a player to craft them, or find them via archeology, cause questing is out of the question. Rare bosses that drop trinkets and rings counts as well.
So you might wonder, why do that? Well i want to feel like i really earned, like TRULY earned my Heritage Armor from blood, sweat and tears, and not speed through the game with heirlooms, boosts or other means that could speed up the process. So far, its been a very long and painful journey, but it feels incredibly rewarding in its own way.
If you see a naked Lightforged Draenei in Azjol-Nerub server, then thats probably me you are seeing.

Ok, here's my story: during the Vanilla times (before any expansions) there was a World boss in Darkshire which would randomly spawn called Emeriss. Now this Dragon was a BAD ASS. Literally, the only way to kill it was with an organized 40-man raid.
So anyways, a guy in my guild had a Horde hunter and decided to see if he could have a bit of fun... He bacially shot the boss in the face with his bow and ran, turning occasionally so the Dragon didn't go back to it's spawn. Now where did he take this dragon to, I here you ask?
Well, he kited this enormous Green killing-machine through 3 Alliance dominated zones DIRECTLY into the heart of Stormwind where he was promptly killed by the guards. However the Dragon was still in pursuit and went on to massacre EVERTYTHING.
And i mean EVERYTHING
NPCs... Players... Everyone was just getting annihilated. AND, here's the best bit, because NPC's regularly re-spawn the Death NEVER ceased.
Blizzard LITERALLY had to shut down and reset the Thunderhorn EU server as it was the ONLY fix. Shortly afterwards they released a patch which prevented hostile mobs from leaving an certain range from their spawn.

It sucks how toxic people can be online. From wishing for someone's death to making raids to ruin in game funerals. And sadly there are a lot of decent people out there who when online become very different. Makes you wonder if deep down they're truly pieces of shits and only good because they don't have audacity in RL to be so ballsy. I wonder if there ever been an official psychological study with internet trolls.

Number 9 is the perfect example of PvP servers and the -quality- of the people who play on them. Yes, they are in fact the type of people who would show up at a real-life funeral and knock the casket over while shouting obscenities and patting themselves on the back for being awesome.
WoW is the cesspool of gaming. The best thing I ever did was walk away from that toxic community.

I think my weirdest thing was getting killed as lvl 50 a bunch by a lvl 100 horde guy to suddenly getting a friend request from him and a peace treaty, we now are good buddys and play all sorts of games and run both factions, as well as helping eachother get things that would normaly be dificult to get (ghost griffin) with ease

I think the funeral brawl was actually pretty fantastic.
Don't get me wrong. The reason that funeral is so famous is obviously because of the attack. And the rival guilds did say they were actually honoring the deceased girl by starting a fight, embracing the game's way and making it more memorable

i would also add this ; a heard a guy in holland actually KILLED himself in real life; committed suicide just because , he didn't got epic Loot from boss in a raid , from what i have heard he jumped into a train , i feel very sorry about this and hope this would never happen again .bless his soul .

The multiboxer (the guy that plays many accounts, which btw I personally know 3 players that play more accounts than that) doesn't need to pay money for them if he doesn't want to. You can pay for your subscription with in-game gold for quite a few years now.

Oh there's another great story of a world of Warcraft player running for office. She won too, her opposition even tried to put up a slam website saying because she was saying all these violent things in wow, that she was unfit for office. It completely backfired.
