#1 - The quests only scale on mayhem, and there's better stuff to do than old sidequests for leveling that will get you better loot.

A great tip for new players.. is to Farm... everything, everywhere you can... that is... to replay the same area, over and over again, to get more loot and better weapons... This is a loot hungry game and the best weapons come from farming... all through the game... Also, more advanced weapons can be gotten very early in the game by farming... Farming is a skill that you need to learn to do well... it's an important part of progressing in the game...
Also don't leave weapons behind on the ground... those weapons that aren't as good as the ones you have are a resource... they can be sold to Marcus... they are cash, just the same as money that you find or earn...

Just started playing this, but something I noticed was how i have used the same gun since I started. I got a legendary shotgun, that's automatic and has the chance of adding more ammo instead of wasting it when shot. It's so good and I have not needed anything else. Never ran out of ammo with it. I've played for about 10 hours and I'm level 16 now and its still a beast.
I do hope that I don't find this gun again, during my next playtrough (will play as another hero)
Cause half the fun in Borderlands is exploring new weapons and stuff

in the video when you see him get into that tricked out technical there is a number that appears in the bottom left of the screen with a wrench over a gear, the number next to it shows how many parts you don't have from the vehicle you are driving
edit: so you don't have to hijack every bandit vehicle and take it to the scrapper each time hoping you unlocked something

actually, the typhon chests don't respawn into new game plus, so opening them ''early on in the game'' where you progress levels faster and constantly get new weapons would be a total waste. wait until lategame and just find the typhon logs so you secure yourself potential OP gear for a lvl where you keep it at least a few ingame hours befor they get outleveled again.

The most annoying thing in this game is that the story does not scale with your level, the dlc matches your level but story is locked to specific level meaning if u play with 3 friends for a good bit or do the dlc it becomes incredibly annoying to dash through all the low level stuff in solo

I always want to play border land but never got to it. I got it with ps plus and it is okay but I wish the damage was set by the ammunition while all the other stats are set by the gun. Its silly 2 guns the same can have damage world's apart.

Not trying to knock anyone, great video,. I did one Respec , and it cost me 4900.00 ,. Was that good or bad ?? No big deal,. Just getting information needed , a better way to Respec, or not,--. Thanks.

For weapons, I try to keep a fire, corrosive, and shock weapon in SMGs and ARs. Cutsman is a good smg and the Rowan's Call is a great AR. I also recommend keeping a few different elements on grenades
