I too like to play story driven games solo-.Honestly I prefer most games solo. Unless I can play with a single friend or in cases of games like Mario Party and Wii games then multiple players is great fun. But I generally am drawn to Solo games with stories with lots of lore, world building, and characters who aren-t just regular human beings (Heros, villains, gods, mutants, ninjas, people with different abilities, witches, warlocks, fantasy/SCI-FI/horror inspired creatures or characters).
I mean there are of course exceptions however I am typical drawn to those types of games and stories in general.

The fact that Arkham knights ISNT a part of the Arkham series storyline yet suicide squad IS a part of Arkham series storyline yet they both come out within the same time frame is a huge red flag.
When companies dissolve huge ip-s into nothing but a nostalgia trip just to sell more units it never ends well.

For now I'm skeptical about it. I don't even know the exact point of the game like is it setting up something? Is it telling the end of Gotham or it's villains? (Most likely not) and more importantly WHEN CAN I PLAY AS RED HOOD.

What about that one guy that Batman was training in arkham knight. That one guy with the sword and hood? I thought he would be the new Batman but no it-s just a whole different game now

My question is if this game is not connected to Arkham asylum in any of those type of games then does the deal that Batman and red hood made at the end of to Arkham asylum still hold
