9 Gaming Mysteries That Were NEVER SOLVED LunarLucar: Wasnt there actually a cutscene in one of the megaman x games of dr light talking to X while he was still half built? Telling him that their world wasnt ready for a robot like him who had his own real feelings, emotions and free will?
Light looked pretty old at that point in time and if I remember they used the schematics for X to create the repliods that we know.
Zero was definitely created by wily and he more than likely killed the robot masters. I dont really care what inafune has to say about the series anymore because he pretty much gave up on everything he was working on at his own studio.
Tin hat time!
I haven't thought about that one in a long time. I still think X is an improved megaman but since you mentioned wily sealing away zero due to him being uncontrollable coupled by the fact that he is more like a killing machine when he goes feral makes me wonder if there was a long peace following one of the megaman games and light decided to mad scientist with mega to make an entirely new species of robot since mega already had such a deep sense of human emotions and possibly true free will. Realizing what light was trying to do wily went truly mad and made zero who then slaughtered everyone but came to his senses before finding X and was sealed away.
Fast forward 100 years of more than likely peace because there were no robot masters and no light or wily to make any more, so things were peaceful until dr cain finds X makes the reploids and then they go maverick lol

Out of curiosity, I wonder if Gavin or Nigel are in RDR 1? Maybe the answer isn't actually in RDR 2 itself?
Also, the Magenta Mystery almost certainly has SOME sort of meaning. It may be almost nothing but not quite. It could be a dev's favorite color or an inside joke or something, pretty much meaningless to fans. but I'd be quite surprised if there wasn't SOME meaning, SOME REASON why it was put in the game.
Edit: The final entry reminds me of Dark Sector being connected to the Warframe universe. If I remember right, it's a prequel from like 300 years before or something? You basically play a character that becomes an Excalibur. Which is interesting, because that's not how Warframes work. They're remotely piloted by Tenno. I don't remember if they're supposed to be organic at all or not. but how crazy would it be if you basically play a Tenno, remotely controlling an Excalibur, that just so happens to be the protagonist from Dark Sector?

I'm a huge Megaman fan. Basically, in Megaman 9 it states that every robot has a government-mandated expiration date, and must be disposed of by that point. In the same game, Dr. Light was able to stop the robot masters from being disposed of by finding new purposes for them, and extending their expiration date. In all likelyhood, when Dr. Light passed away his robots simply broke down over time or hit their expiration date and were disposed of, with no way of extending it. Megaman, having saved the world numerous times, maybe had a different fate, but for all the other characters it's pretty much guaranteed they just went to the scrap heap.

There is another game with an unsolved mystery that may never get revealed at all. At the end of lego dimensions's credits there you get a pov of a mystery person who picks up a piece of lord vortech and something happens then ends with vortech's laugh on a black screen. Now since the game got discontinued by WB whatever this was going to imply or whoever this person is has since been lost to time with many theories and more about it but until WB or anyone who worked on the game says otherwise or shows anything otherwise if at all it's still just left in the dark.

Some other mysteries I can think of are the Mysterious Stranger from Fallout. I know he's mostly just a joke character. But his name is literally Mysterious Stranger. It's also implied in Fallout 4 that it's been the same guy since fallout 2.
There is also the strange man from Red Dead Redemption. He Give John moral dilemmas in his missions, and when John finally decides to shoot him it doesn't effect him. In RDR2 some people think he's the grim reaper and/or responsible for the Cholera epidemic; you can also find a weird painting of him.

i do my reading on different aspects of the destiny community, there are those in the headcannon lore space that are convinced that the game is a continuation of marathon with parts rearranged.
one unconfirmed theory is that savathun the witch queen is an analog for durandal.
They say theres a striking similarity in the way each character breaks the fourth wall and talks to the player about subjects that infer a wanting to transcend planes of reality. potentially even from game to irl.

What I want to know is how come so few times anyone from a game studios PR answers these questions or mysteries and they remain left unsolved? Is it that important? Are we saying nobody from CDPR would know an answer if this is a real secret or not? Its always been strange to me how much these secrets are treated as sacred. Like that one secret I forgot now but the programmers only came forward 20 YEARS later and admitted the secret. Its so weird to me.

It s no longer a mystery or theory between Nigel/Gavin. It s implied in the note (while John) that Nigel no longer have Gavin because he accomplished what he needed to. He needed Gavin in order to achieve what he has achieved and once achieved Gavin disappeared. Nigel is dependent upon that personality so he searches for him endlessly. We all know this. Nigel IS Gavin Gavin will never be found. The note was addressed to Nigel but vaguely references Gavin.

Hex FF 06 B5 is 16713397 decimal. The FF value looks like an 8 bit rollover value intended to trigger something. Increment it by one and it resets to zero. Hex 06 B5 is 1717 decimal. I think I'd be setting the system clock and/or game time to 17: 17 and seeing what if anything happens by the statue. Failing that I'd be looking for FF 06 B5 (or an offset version of it) in the code and I'd reset it to 00 06 B5. Once again I'd be checking out the statue.

Megaman i can explain, X was created after Megaman and was far superior Wily at one point created Zero, in fact Zero is even mentioned and briefly seen in the Megaman-Bass deal indicating that Megaman died at some point just before X was activated alongside Zero.
now not 100% sure on this Info if i am to be honest but i believe that is the case unless Capcom releases another Megaman x game explaining what happened to the original Megaman

I have always wondered what determine the color of eggs in RE4. Is it by a set percentage of chance? Do all color has equal or different chance? Can you somehow manipulate it to spawn gold more often? Because it is known that healing items drop from enemy more when Leon stay in low health. Also in the village does scaring the chicken help faster egg spawn or not to touch them. I need to know.

Nigel and gavin are a nod to achievement hunter gavin free (also of slowmo guys) who is also English and the Nigel name is taken from a popular let's play the feed called nigel Thornbury it's also worth noting achievement hunter and rockstar have a close relationship giving has also made cameos in a few games along with most of the let's play crew. They all featured as soldiers on halo 3

My take on number 9 is that it's just meant to be a futuristic type of modern art. As in, in the future some modern artist could just display the color code instead of actually painting the statue, so everybody could imagine it painted in their head. That's pretty simple and also kinda cool from an artistic point of view. There's no mystery behind there: )

Elite Dangerous and Raxxla is a big mystery. It's only mentioned in a book that came with the first Elite game in the 80's. David Braben has confirmed it's in the current game. The problem is there are 400 billion star systems in the game and after nearly 8 years of searching players have mapped less than 0. 1% of the galaxy. Good luck finding that one!

Number nine. maybe it is a weird kind of advertisment. The German Telekom identifies itself as the Magenta Company, offering services like MagentaTV and MagentaZuhause (MagentaAtHome, DSL plans.
Edit: Or maybe there was a fallout between the Telekom and the studio, and CD Project Red decided to set up 'their own' magenta just in spite.
