MOST EXPENSIVE GAME EVER, GAMESHARK RETURNS & MORE
video description
I haven't played much in the past year and I'm not schilling for them(if I was I'd be dropping my code and asking you to sign up using it, but if you haven't tried it maybe check it out at their next free play event. Even if the game isn't for you, it makes for an amazing tech demo. Being able to get out of bed in your apartment, take a shuttle to the spaceport, climb into a ship, take off, fly into space, go to another planet, fly down into a cave, and get out to nab a bounty, all seamlessly with no transitions or load screens is brilliant. Everything is in the same universe, no instances. Starfield is single player and they couldn't even manage to let you board your ship without it loading you into an instance. It's also an exceptionally pretty looking game. You can smear your cheek onto a window and see all the scratches and smudges, count the strands in your friend's hair, or whatever else floats your freak boat.

For any curious I played the alpha for suicide squad, story is great so far biggest attraction, one thing I didn’t like, was that each character has a weapon and melee but your melee is just hitting the right bumper on Xbox controller repeatedly, as you level up skill trees you do earn more combos, so it’s not just hitting the one button repeatedly, and you get more gadgets for whichever character your using as well, the map was cool for detailed, and multiplayer with friends was fun, doesn’t seem like playing solo will be fun tho. But overall just an ok game for sure gameplay wise. But story and dialogue were the biggest parts for me they hit out of the park with story and dialogue and the characters are awesome.

I grew up with action replay, between gamecube, ps2 and DS it was always fun tinkering with. Gameshark AI could be cool if it reminds you which order to tackle the robot masters in megaman to alerting you of a nearby grace or dungeon in Elden Ring. I'm interested to see what they bring to the table with this since altering hex isn't thier thing anymore. You can't generate a shiny encounter in Pokemon but maybe you can have a real time coach walk you through optimal shiny hunting methods. Could be cool.
Don't be mean to Datel.

Bought into Star Citizen about 8 years ago. Play it every once in a while (most recently last week. While I still see some promise in the game, and what is there is very cool, I am very disappointed it isn't further along than it is, given how much time has elapsed. Frankly, the bugs and glitches my friends and I encounter are very surprising to me, at this stage in its development. And it feels lonely. I do encounter other players periodically, but I think they should invest in more interactive NPCs too.

I feel like the Gameshark question has a rather obvious answer. They're going to use AI to do memory editing. Like a "smart" Cheat Engine. It's kind of a no-brainer. The model would be relatively easy to train and the compute power required to run the model would be negligible at best. Even if it somehow needed heavier GPU compute, it's still only a 1-time thing; The AI doesn't need to be constantly computing as it would've already figured out the "juicy" memory addresses.

I had a gameshark on my modded PS1 growing up. It was the coolest thing ever. My dad would rent a dozen games weekly from blockbuster or another rental store for a few bucks each, rip the ISOs on his PC, burn them to blank CDs, then return the games early for a credit in some cases lol. I had a massive library of nearly every game for the PS1 and I'd just try random games and see what cool cheats or dev features I could enable with the gameshark. Those were the days.

Gameshark must REALLY be stuck in that late 90s, early 00s Y2k mind set if they think people still want virtual assistants like that. They can call it whatever they want, but this really is just them trying to bring back desktop helpers like clippy but for games. I do think it would be funny though if that could license some characters for that use, I would love to see Navi trying to give annoying hints to what you need to do in a game like dead space

Absolute insanity. No one with a functioning brain would spend $10, 000 on a single game, let alone $48, 000.
You could spend $10, 000 right now, get a high-end PC and enough excellent games to last you the rest of your life, and beyond.
There’s just no way. No one spending that much on a single game is operating with a full deck. I will accept no other excuse for such behavior. More money than brains, as the saying goes.

I don't really pay attention to games anymore precisely because of things like this.
If this game developer is willing to charge customers $48, 000 for in-game content, I want absolutely nothing to do with this game. At all. Ever.
PC gaming is a delightful hobby supported by another hobby: PC building/upgrading. Game developers and graphics card manufacturers have soured both hobbies for me.

If GameShark comes out with AI to help with the grind on games for busy adults, I’d buy it. I haven’t gotten back to God of War as I’m in that arena area and got to a point where it was less fun, more rinse-and-repeat and just haven’t gone back when I have other games that don’t hurt my thumbs.

Something’s wrong with you if you are excited and/or planning to play a gameboy advance rpg when it comes to switch online Honestly Someone with a white coat should just come grab you I mean I get nostalgia But if you play and finish that game in 2024 you should be studied for science

So, thoughts, huh Okay well;
1. In what Gods Damned world is $48, 00 a fcking MICROtransaction!
2. Gameshark returns as an in game hint giving AI Sound interesting, but I already get enough hints to play something else whenever I try to play Elden Ring. I don't need an AI for that

Contrast to something like the sims. The game plus all DLC is about $1k, but you can't unlock the DLC by playing, so to play all of the sims you'd have to pay about $1k.
The cheapest game packages are about $60. You can earn all of those ships in the $48k pack in the game.

When I hear about these games with the absurd money sinks, money spent on OF, expensive cars etc. And i wonder. Where does it come from Is there a connection between those who have this throw away amount of money and the absurd inflation that we've been dealing with

Here's a cool thought:
I can use my GBA GameShark to make a save file for Golden Sun that is overpowered and max level. I can beat the game on my gba and use the password given to transfer my GameShark save data over to the lost age when it drops on switch.

2: 50 Play Star Citizen, own a Corsair (best ship. Played hundreds of hours of NMS and Elite Dangerous. Dabbled in Eve for a year or two.
Even in it's Alpha state Star Citizen is still hands down the best space game ever created. No contest.
