A really cool FPS, the first game developed by High Moon Studios, released in 2005, on the original Xbox, that’s the one that came out before the Xbox 360. Published by Capcom & Ubisoft, is the game Darkwatch. It plays like a horror/dark action Call of Duty or Halo, with a twist that you’re an Outlaw & a Vampire, fighting the undead in a Wild West setting. The game has a morality system. Making good or evil decisions will determine the power ups you get throughout the game, and will determine one of the different endings that you get. The coolest feature of the game is that every firearm has its own blade or melee weapon built into it. So every weapon has its own special melee animation. To balance the firearms overall power, some have better ammunition, some have better built in melee weapons. The variety of weapons are like the selection UNSC weapons you get in Halo. If there’s any game that absolutely deserves a sequel or a remaster, it’s this game. This game also features a multiplayer mode with PvP matchmaking like Call of Duty or Halo.

Resident evil 2 Remake and Resident evil 3 remake can be finished in under 5 hours consistently. Re2R FEELS longer, but it's really only got 15minutes more content. Did we want the old RE3 Nemesis with buffed graphics sure. But it's also Short, it just FEELS long. Speedrun times comparing these games should also tell people this.
Play either RE2R or RE3R. I'd say RE3R is the better pick because you can't get lost like you can in RE2R. if you want a scarier experience, play RE2R.

Resident evil 2 Remake and Resident evil 3 remake can be finished in under 5 hours consistently. Re2R FEELS longer, but it's really only got 15minutes more content. Short games are the future of AAA. At least I hope so. I know some people only get a few games a year and want them to be as long as possible, but the older you get, the less time you have. AAA is becoming way too expensive to make, and I’d be happy if their answer to the ballooning budgets was to mark games shorter. That’s just my opinion, I know people will disagree with this.

12: 13 What PC game from 2013 does not work perfectly In last 2 years I played again Bioshock Infinite, Assassin's Creed Black Flag, Sniper Ghost Warrior 2, Saints Row IV, Dead Space 3, and I am playing Metro: Last Light atm. Every one of them worked great. Damn, I still play every year here and there Doom 2, Wolfenstein 3D, MAx Payne and Quake III Arena without any problems.

i would like to add, it would be nice if you all added a Seizure warning for Sayonara Wild Hearts. being related to someone who suffers from visual sensitivity, i know many would see that and could go into a full blown seizure.
not a bad list otherwise, and thanks for reminding me of Inside. i really need to play that. (as well as Little Nightmares (and 2)

Took up little nightmares for a simple reason. Six seems like the polar opposite to yarnie. Yarnie is collecting mostly the positive memories while losing the string that keeps him together and six is collecting all the negative ones while gaining strength to take on any of the monsters in her world making them no longer a threat.

10: 03 There's something poetic about the verbal typo of saying "appear" instead of the intended word "appeal" when referring to japanese devs. Like unintentionally resonating with the language. In case anyone has any qualms about this, the L to R phonetic conversion is the basis of a lot of cool trivia, see Alucard and Arikadou

I just played Firewatch for the first today (you had a brief clip of it) and it was fun. I would also add The Vanishing of Ethan Carter to the list; a delightful mystery game with a really good twist ending! I don't remember if it took 5 hours or less but Call of the Sea is a beautiful adventure/puzzle game.

Or, you could just skip RE3 and play RE2 instead because it takes 2 hours to complete and is an infinitely better experience all round. RE3 while a "serviceable" game was just a disappointment, there's no getting around it.
Also, props to everyone shouting Journey!

What's your opinion of Enclave And Dark Messiah of Might and Magic Never seen those on any of your lists, though I'd say they're worthy. Also, you don't seem to be very fond of strategies here, but take a look at Call to Arms - Gates of Hell: Ostfront.

I love short games, i get pissed when sites like IGN slam games like The Order for 'being too short' ive completed MANY games in less time than the order. You can complete any of the resi games in a handful of hours and noone seems to care about that

One of my all-time favorite short games is Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion. The game play is alright, but the writing & humor of the story are top notch. It parodies so many standing video game troupes. Totally worth spending an afternoon on.

If we're talking about AvP, I'd rather go with the 2001 title, Aliens Versus Predator 2. The 2010 game is okay, but it was trying a bit too hard to fit into then-current trends (ie. CoD. AVP2 is older, yes, but much more fun of a romp.

RE 3 remake is a fun experience, I love everything about it
Shadow Warrior 3, about 3 hrs. not mentioned often but such a solid gameplay

Mirror's Edge is one of the greatest games of all time. It's world absolutely beautiful, breathtaking. Because of its simplistic art design, it still looks like a game that could have come out today.

All Ghostrunner games weren't too long, if you know what you are doing. Should take around 5'ish hours. GR II had some annoying sections with the bike, but all three of iare pretty awesome
