I wish modern AAA games could've just come out Already Great instead of Here's a alpha/beta software that we advertised as the final version and then slowly drip-feed whales the content and fixes that may or may not Improve the game's lacking core foundation and DNA. The idea of patching and DLC rollouts has really conditioned players into thinking the usual This game feels a bit bland. But I'm sure with enough patches and updates, this'll be a masterpiece in no time mentality. Only for like 3 out of the 300 crap releases to have that kind of redemption arc. It's a sad reality that I myself carry the same knee-jerk reaction for any bad or lackluster modern game releases. But man, wouldn't it be great if AAA game companies would actually release a title feature complete AND THEN release big or small expansion DLCs along the way to beef up the game with even more content than it already has (Yes I am aware the 'Indie' scene exists. But I am strictly talking about the failing age of AAA releases here)
Unfortunately that is a dying art that only a handful of big companies still practice to this day. But with A. I being the next big thing, combine that with digital media being the preferred distribution method instead of physical media, that practice unfortunately won't be be around any longer. But one thing's for sure. A game that's launched bad but later gets consistent support from the devs for years to come is still miles better than a game that's launched terribly and then abandoned a month later after release. 'Techland' being a good example of providing the former kind of support.

Outriders is most certainly not a good game. The gameplay itself is fine but the loot Anthem gives WAAAYYYYYY more loot, like, thousands of times more loot than outriders ever does. The problem with anthem wasn't you NOT getting loot, it was that the RNG on the loot made it so you would need hundreds if not thousands of pieces of said loot to get the perfect rolls (and I don't mean MAXED out rolls just the rolls you wanted on said piece of gear) but you would still get plenty of good loot to use. I believe I had calced it out for a piece of loot that I was looking for and using probability it was something over a million to get the rolls I wanted because there were 4 of them and there were that many damn affixes on each weapon. Of course you could reroll a piece which would bring that down quite a bit but it would still have been a daunting task. Far, FAR better than outriders which just doesn't give you to begin with and the store is overpriced so good luck with buying anything either.

I'm sorry, but, unpopular FACT- Fat Shark PLEDGED to bring true SOLO, as in ZERO other players and they lied. They could do it in V1, they could do it in V2! Even worse is the player base defends them! IDC if you play with friends or rando's. Doesn't matter! This was a promised feature that they will not implement. I played both V1 as well as V2 with, and without players. I have played all the characters and classes from beginning to end SOLO as well. I am halfway through another run on cataclysm solo right now. If modders can make a single player, why the hell won't the dev's. maybe it's because the ONLY feature that has ALWAYS worked was the store. I smell Ten-Cent here.

Always loved the gameplay in Ghost Recon Breakpoint but the missions and the map just put me off. The map is huge and absolutely boring. Its beautiful but theres just not a lot of things to do except to go to this weird stronghold and eliminate everyone. I wish there were more realistic areas or scenarios to play rather than having multiple generic giant science labs with a big AI tank roaming around. I just hope the next game would combine the gameplay mechanics from Breakpoint and the maps similar to Division 2, and that would be the best combination.

I think I should give Dying Light 2 a proper revisit. On release, on the PS5, it had ugly textures and performance, and no firearms of any kind. Thankfully they've gone back and fixed and/or added content since it's initial release. I would say Lords of the Fallen has indeed received a wealth of patches and performance fixes, however the game still suffers from severe lack of enemy variety, weak bosses, rage inducing gank-fests that makes Dark Souls 2 blush, and inconsistent pacing. it's a decent game, but Lies of P is the better Souls like hands down.

Still don’t think fallout 76 is worth playing. Even if you can get it for free. The map is horrible, I can never find out where I need to go because the quest icons are so insanely small. The quest are still buggy to this day. The npc quests are mostly just filler with all the quests feeling relatively the same. And the fact that guns have durability might be one of the most annoying features added to a fallout game.

I know the problems with 2042. I agree about them but I liked it. What I hated was that they killed BFV and BFII to give us what 2042 was. Both of those games were doing very well. The developers were listening to the players. The added content was great. Hearing what the devs had planned before EA killed it, it hurt man. There was some cool stuff coming. 2042 is good now. But I'm still a little sour about that.

Interesting how they come up with these content ideas.
I wish i we could add ff16 here too, but sadly they never fixed it's performance mode, yes the game was still amazing i finished it 2 times but i really expected them to fix the performance mode or add 40 fps so that my 3rd playthrough would be even better. But now i didn't even bother to finish it for the 3rd time.

darktide suffers from being too small scale, every mission feels identical it gets so boring so quickly, its just 30 minutes of mindless blasting/smashing on repeat fighting enemies that look identical, should have been playing as diff factions fighting different factions, 1 mission as a space marine fighting chaos space marines next as astra militarum vs genestealers etc

I stopped playing Dying Light 2 after investing 20 hours into it due to an easily replicated bug that PERMANENTLY prevented you from upgrading tools. locking me out of a lot of challenges and areas.
The bug Literally joining another player's game who was ahead of you before you unlocked the tools yourself.
Techland hasn't bothered to fix that bug yet I believe.

So. lets me get this straight.
This company/studio butchered the ports of Batman and Dark Souls 1. AND STILL WERE ABLE TO FIND ANOTHER COMMISSION. This is why the gaming industry is in such a garbage state went companies and studios like that one keep getting job offers. What the hell is going on with this damn publisher giving jobs to garbage companies

I was lucky with Cyberpunk as I had minor issues when I got it on release and I have enjoyed watching it get better and better. Right now, I am surprised that I am enjoying Fallout 76 this time (I tried it before the NPCs and shortly after they released NPCs. I don't think I will be in it for the long term, but the story and the quests have been interesting.

Didn't play Breakpoint when it first came out, because I knew it would suck without human companions. But when it was available for free on PS, downloaded it, and had so much fun. Even Platinum'd it. Can't say the same for Valhalla though, Valhalla just feels off, I usually really enjoy AC games, but Valhalla doesn't feel right. What happened there

Techland burned me with the trash that was DL2. Being stuck in a deathloop, corrupted game files, too many glitches to count. I'll never buy a Techland game again. DL1 was one of my most favorite games ever. DL2 should never have been launched in that state. I don't care how many people defend them. They'll never get another dime from me.

The video here is a bit misleading for number 8. They haven't added new game modes for DarkTide, they added new missions sure but the game mode addition was to Vermintide II, a sister game of Fatsharks. They even show game footage of Vermintide II not DarkTide for that part. They're different games with different updates.

I gotta give it to EA, BF 2042 was an absolute dumpster fire at launch, but I just started playing it a few weeks ago, and it's seriously one of the most fun BF games ever. I think it's a really great game now. Why can't we ever get a good game at launch anymore, dunno, I think those days are long gone.
reply

Infinite launched as trash and will remain trash.
Half the guns are terrible, the campaign was terrible and required people to digest books, comics, and shorts to understand how they got there, and the multiplayer feels like a reskinned CoD.
You can polish a turd, but it remains a turd.

You really going to give Fallout 76 the time of day after what they pulled They legit lied and cheated the players. What is your justification for giving attention to this game when you know how it cheated people I find its inclusion questionable and really want to hear how you justify this.

At this point I strongly recomended just forget about baitchesda and play only in spiritual successors of thier games. Thank good there a loot of it. For example there are SpaceBourne 2 wich wastely better than shitfield. And there are in development many alternatives for TES games.

I started playing fallout 76 again about a week ago and I first picked it up about a year or two ago and it was really boring then but right now I can’t get enough of this game and I’m enjoying every second of playing it especially when I join events with high-level players
