I hopped in yesterday (the day after launch) ran pretty smooth. Actually had a lot of fun. Yes got kicked from finding a match just once and it was during peak hours. There was one instance where I’m positive my bullets weren’t registering but I switched to my secondary and it didn’t seem to be an issue ever again. I do like the different factions and how they make the gameplay different. Also like how if you choose your team properly with all the different specials, you can really dominate if you communicate. Too early to say anything about sbmm everyone is still pretty low level. I had a lot of fun with the cleaner class. Looking forward to playing after work

Second off. They launched on Tuesday midday to fix servers for the night. Other than the first few hours match’s are being found with full lobbies instantly

Good amount of maps and modes with a lot more coming soon.
Everything is unlockable in game. This game feels fresh and its needs to do well. If this game is a success that is how we as gamers can start to show the companies that when they do something new and good (or go back to no sbmm) we as the gamers will reward them for it!

If casual games wont have ANY skill-based-matchmaking you shouldn't be allowed to play in group or party in CASUAL otherwise every single time i enter casual game i could theoretically be joining a game against party of very skilled players who are just trolling the casual game-mode while i am matched in a team with boiled potato's and in theory this could happen every single game. As a matter of fact that's the worst part of Rocket League of example. So gg from jump, this makes casual super frustrating instead of fun.

My hotshot lobbies, my team rarely picked up tokens, in escort my team never moves the package other than me, all lobbies for 5 hours had headshot sniper demons, plus the lmg is garbage, dedsec seems locked behind a paywall so that sucks, also, cleaners firebomb sucks because its not a throwable, libertad healing is almost useless to me, and the ultimates take way to long to charge up unlike overwatch where its passive and charges faster with eliminations

Terrible video lmao.
The game is a solid F2P shooter with no major performance or gameplay issues, and all you do is highlight its negatives.
For those who haven't played, it's a solid 7. 5ish/10 shooter. Only drawbacks are some abilities and guns seem a lot stronger than others and some of the maps aren't amazing.
Its 100% worth a play. It's COD with some of the better aspects of Overwatch. There is an ACR too

Your gripe about the server bugs for a couple of hours is funny, because XDef has had a smoother launch than any COD or OW that I can remember. Those other games have taken days if not weeks to figure out server issues. Shoot they still have them. But like you did say, Ubi does abandon their games, hopefully they stick to this and iron it out. The potential is there.

So u dont need a game with any kind of personality of its on with crappy in game features and average on every level. all u need is no sbmm. all the people downing cod because they suck at it. these people dont want competitiveness they just want to get a bunch of kills and say look at me. i mean why play a competitive game that has no competitiveness. that wold asf.

Lol me watching this having absolutely no interest in yet another PvP shooter. I've never really been able to wrap my head around waisting time on games like these. Like I guess if you're a weekend gamer for an hour with friends, sure. But if you actually have time to game, this seems like a waste to me. But to each their own. I like my own shitty games too lol.

I like a lot of your before you buys but man not agreeing with a lot of your takes on this. Seems like you just want to have your hand held in the game with the aim assist. It’s just a genuinely fun game. It’s not super serious. Without sbmm you can stomp and you can get stomped on it’s just fun always random matches no pre determined results

A triple A company taking ideas from other triple A companies. I wish new ideas could be brought so companies could learn from positive and negative feedback so their next games they can try something different again instead of looking at another company's success and running off of that and creating a trend where they all copy the same ideas

This should’ve been a 3rp person/fps hybrid like pubg. R6 siege is already way past cod multiplayer. If they want to compete with warzone then make a battle royale from R6. The characters in xdefiant look like teenagers doing cosplay. All the iconic ubisoft characters and we get none of them.

Man, I can't lie, it's pretty rough watching the gameplay on some of these Before You Buy's. Now I'm not saying you've gotta be great at a game on day one, but man some of it is hard to watch. Regardless, I watch EVERY single Before You Buy so clearly its NOT an issue just an observation. LOL.

There is absolutely no way this game doesn’t have SBMM don’t tell me it’s a skill issue I’m dropping 30-40-50 bombs every game going positive just about every game butttt im sweating my ass off to do so and it’s getting harder and harder as my Average skill level goes up

Well, I played and streamed COD, especially three last ones, I felt like the devs don’t wanna do anything for players. but when I tried this game, compared to MW3, makes me wanna play X more then Cod free to play only 30 GB. Not saying it’s better, it’s just better for me.

No this game doesn’t need whacky skins and or colorful characters. That’s the problem with today’s gaming, this is going back to the roots of traditional gaming. Not 1000 attachments that don’t do much, good maps, decent guns and audio is all we need.

When your talking about guns and other stuffs, give it time man it just got released. No need to come out with 56 guns wacky stuff etc cod, BF, apex, pubg etc dosent do it so why would a free game that will sell battlepass, release all the goods all at once

I think the server issues on day one frustrated Falcon and set the pace. I fully get they want these reviews out ASAP though. Speed matters a ton with the algorithm.
Either way I love falcon so I'll continue watching everything he posts lol
