Too bad about all the racing games anymore using real car brands. Not buying any more racing games that don't include dynamic destruction for vehicles. Haven't bought one in years because of it, and any trailer showing a real world car brand makes the whole game an instant nope.
It's 20 year old tech being held back by car manufacturers crying wolf that people seeing their virtual vehicles crunched up like a tin can is bad for sales.
How hard would it really be for devs to do like GTA does and basically copy designs with slight differences and a new name, so we can finally get destruction physics back

I just wanna say I bought Cyberpunk yesterday because of all the videos like it’s finally fixed, worth it to play in 2024 but the truth is I’m playing on PS5 and still have tons of bugs and graphical issues. Also, I notice a real trend of Gameranx and IGN hyping up games they have early access for but then switching up when the public doesn’t agree. Idk who to trust for opinion and reviews any more. Sucks

SYNDUALITY drops on 1/23 or a full week earlier for deluxe/ultimate versions!
Third person mecha shooter with exploration/extraction/PvP elements. Separate story mode that is single player only. Separate mech parts you can mix and match, and customizable companion Magus character. Controlling the mech feels good, chunky but still agile. Bandai Namco.

The i prefer it on pc schtick is getting kinda burnt out. games have always looked better on PC & outside of convenience has always been superior just a bit niche, why so much emphasis on it this generation It jus feels sometimes like a slick way to dig at the PS5 bc i still haven’t run into any issues on any of the games people complain about.

Let's be honest Since sniper elite 2, there haven't been any new real game mechanics in the game that warrant actually buying it again. It's just the same rehashed crap over and over again. Just like call of duty: modern warfare they should try and do a more present timeline version which would really rejuvenate sales and interest in the game.

I'm gonna play the shit out of the Sniper Elite game. I always left the Sniper Elite games at the way side thinking it was just a direct to bargain basket crap series but Gamepass got me trying the last release and I loved it! It reminded me of the god old 360 FPS times with games like RTCW, FEAR and many more.

Falcon, I want you to make a list of things that have pissed you off forever in games, that no developer has even attempted to address. We haven't had a good angry list in a while, and I've got the first two logs to put on the fire, each of which I will put in their own replies to this comment.

Strangely I am in direct disagreement with one of your last statements, Falcon- I am still a console gamer and am a little disappointed that the most interesting games lately or in the near future are steam or pc versions It’s like I have nothing to look forward to. Kinda sucks

My best friend group in high school used to get together on weekends and play Dynasty Warriors 2 on PS2, and we played the new games together as they came out until after we had all graduated and drifted into our lives. I'm actually pretty stoked for Origins.
reply

Damn. Never came away disappointed from a gameranx. Still haven’t. I am disappointed in the future of gaming that focus solely on graphics instead of gameplay and ideas. This list is disappointing to watch as none of those looked worth playing.

I am actually looking forward to playing Freedom Wars remastered, as it will be put on Steam at the beginning of the year. It was a fun and challenging monster hunter -like game on the PS Vita that did a lot of interesting things.

You’re really going to have to explain the having more fun with the pc version thing, it’s the exact same game, I played both versions, had more fun with the ps4 version because now on the pc version it feels like a slog

With regards to AC Evo, the open world aspect will only ship in July-ish 2025. It will initially launch with some race tracks and race/road cars. As a sim racer, I have high hopes for this one, as the potential is massive!

Hyper Light Drifter was great. Unfortunately they decided to use Sweet Baby Inc. and I won't financially support any company that uses a DEI consulting company. And SBI is one of the most repugnant. A shame really!

3D is cool to see and it looks fun, but one of Hyper Light Drifter's greatest strengths was its aesthetic and atmosphere, so it's sad to see they move away from isometric cam but still looking forward to Breaker

AC: R, FF7, and Kingdom Come II in February are the 3 games I’m anticipating most for next year and they’re all releasing within a month of each other. Rebirth will feature ultrawide support this time, too.

Typical for a January. January is often a slower month. Of course, if these are your cup of tea then it’s a great month for you. A couple of these look pretty cool though. Thanks for the video.

Falcon, I’m curious. Do you really try all these games on your lists. You sound optimistic and interested in every video, but I figure it’s for show. There’s no way you try all these games.

I'm looking forward to final fantasy vii rebirth, on pc, finally! But kcd2 comes out shortly after that so will have to put ffvii rebirth aside for a bit, while I rack up 500 hours on kcd2.
