I'm really worried that a lot of people are going to complain if GTA 6 is slowed down and really realistic. But this is exactly what I want from GTA 6 it was what made Red Dead redemption 2 so great, those moments where I could walk slowly through the forest and every couple of seconds notice something that made me feel immersed in the game whether it be the audio the breathing wildlife system the Gore from combat especially after a fight when you loot people and you lift up their dismembered body reflecting on just how deadly and dangerous the weapons are those moments were peak gaming. I'm really hoping they do something good for the car physics in GTA 6 not just the driving but when you crash as well for example I don't want to hit a wall going at 80 mph and be able to reverse the car and have it work let's let there be real consequences to driving like a maniac so driving through the city takes real skill bullets do more damage to engines that sort of stuff imagine the online component with that this means that you can't just get in some car drive like an idiot and bash your way through traffic you have to be strategic and you have to think about where you want to go and how to maneuver your vehicle come on guys slow down an immersive is not a bad thing it's more content especially in a big huge living breathing world like GTA 6

Personaly I think media are exagerating player hype for HL3. Those of us old enough to have experienced the originals when they dropped are over it now, the memes are funny, we will check it out if it drops sure, but over all we just dont care anymore. There is no hype for us, we are not excited, yes its interesting to us but not exciting, thats the fault of media outlets not shutting up about it for 20 years, you guys and media outlets like yours have bogus reported so often youve ruined it for everyone anyway. The vocal few who still give a damn skew your perception. the time to drop HL3 was 10 years ago. If HL4 was dropping right now we may have still cared. I wont be going out of my way to obtain a copy and most of my gamer freinds wont buy it at all. If its has some kind of multiplayer component, well then maybe the average gamer and HL lover will all want to buy it, if its an utterly amazing must have game we will definitely want it, but if its just HL3 then meh who gives a damn now.

GTA delayed because they know HL3 is coming this year and want all the hype. I didn't love GTA5 so I'm not really even excited for this. I loved the games up to 4, but by 5 the novelty of a huge living, breathing city had worn off and having to drive around the city to start missions had become tedious. I wonder how they're going to shake it up, or if they even will, seeing as everyone else seems to be going crazy for it. RDR 2 had a lot of changes from the first (for better or worse, it was different) so I'm hoping something like that happens here.
Love Mafia, love the price. The shooting in the remake was janky and it looks similar in Old Country too, unfortunately. Haven't played it obviously, but that's how it looks. Hope I'm wrong.
Nintendo is fully in the villain arc and I hate it.

$50 is the move of today and tomorrow but the rich idiots don’t know that yet. Indie games are coming out that ppl are actually playing, while AAA publishers are scratching their heads as to why they can’t maintain playerbase.
2025 and 2026 are going to be filled with angry GenX and Boomers because the millenials and Gen Z aren’t buying their crap anymore. When you have games coming out like Deadzone Rogue, Balatro, Headliners, not to mention there’s a gazillion games out. There’s just no reason to drop $70-80 on a game when I can’t afford it anyway. That’s the thing the publishers don’t think about. Bad economy has delayed effects. They need to start charging $50 right now.

Out of all games that have ever been developed there is no doubt GTA is on top of the food chain, however only one, just ONE game that can be released in the same window as GTA 6 and not get overshadowed, that is of course Half Life 3. It might not be very popular amongst the youngsters but you will see every dude over 30 making sure to play it. We've waited much much more than the people that waited for GTA 6. Hell, I'll play HL3 first even if it was released at the same day as GTA 6. its been like what, 20-21 years

We've already seen with Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 that games don't need insane budgets to be incredible. Space Marine 2 was also a budget half that of Doom Eternal and was extremely succesful. 50 bucks for a game made on an adequate but humble budget is viable. Especially with new engines like UE5 that have features and assets that are supposed to help cut down cost, I see no need why a game should be 80 USD, especially if it's just another EA/Ubisoft cookiecutter safe game.

All these comments talking about a $50 price tag. You guys realize that you made the industry the way it is right It’s your fault! I don’t blame the developers or publishers for anything because I watched in real time you guys creating the market we have.
Even if you realize this now as your older there is a whole generation behind you that are taking your place. Good luck with your unheard whines.

I remember gears of war watching my best friend play so often on 360 while I had my PlayStation and had a few games. I liked it was still new and didn’t have many big names for it other than Haze. Was very jealous, but loved watching him play so excited after all these years I finally get to have that taste.

I think the Mafia franchise should stick to the popular and most known periods of the Mafia era or perhaps rather explore even the more 90s style if anything. Going back to the heavily limited and fairly small scope roots has little to show and offer. It almost works better the less you talk about it.

I bought Expedition 33 the day after it came out, which is something I never do anymore. Other than the overwhelming positivity, the other reason I did was the $50 price point. I will always support companies that try to get games to their audience at a fair price, so I'm happy to see Mafia doing it too.

TRIPLE AAA Games have on the whole, over the last few years been absolutely awful. Unfinished, half assed piles of donkey dung.
Mostly kids who convince parents to fork out buy these games straight away. Older m ore experienced gamers wait until a price drop. Personally I wait for at least 12 months

America needs to go back making money by selling things cheaper and producing a higher volume. This shift happened during the pandemic where all industries shrunk their services and charged more for less. Numerous games will make more charging $50 than $80 as there will be more people buying it.

Hopefully GTA6 will be less work and tedium than RDR2.
Loved the concept of the game. but ALL the WORK that you had to do JUST to get anything done.
I already have a job that keeps me busy. I don't need more work in my videogames.
I tried. I couldn't take it, and uninstalled.

GTA 6 really looks like it's just going to be 5 with better graphics. And IF the online is any good it's only going to be for the first year or so, and then it'll be time for their whale-hunting. The only question is whether they feel they need to have the decent first year at all.

Half-Life 3
Nope. Don't believe it. I will never believe it until there's an official announcement and gameplay trailer.
I've gotten my hopes up too many times and been heartbroken every single time.
My hopes for Half-Life 3 are old enough to vote and get married.

Tony Hawk game. Grandpa on a Skateboard would be realistic. Is he really still skating well after his expiration date or is his name still milking the franchise for all it's worth He is old enough now to have grandchildren so Grandpa on a Skateboard is apt.
reply

they started the development of HL3 after Alyx I heard you will play both characters and it will have Vr support this is why didn't release until now
If Gta6 release in 2026 it will be the next cyberpunk this is why I think it will release 2027

I'm hoping GTA VI handles dual protags the same way RE 2 did. Instead of building the game around swapping between two people, you pick one from the start. and then you're forced to commit. Therefore giving you 2 different campaign experiences

who cares at this point, I am 41y old now, it's been decades since HL2, it's been too long imo most of the original player base doesn't play video games anymore and their kids won't be able to just jump in HL3 and appreciate it
