Blue Prince was super cool. And also super annoying by the time I was done with it. Great idea, great formula, needs a significant amount of refining. There’s a LOT of good puzzle content. for a game that would take 30 hours to 100%. The fun of puzzle games is trying to figure out the puzzles. Which means when you have an, Aha, moment, or when you have a new strategy to try, you want to be able to test out your new hypothesis! Doing so. should probably never require grinding for a couple hours to do so. Once you successfully complete a run for the first time, Blue Prince would be a far better game for the rest of its run time if they gave you like 3x the amount of tools to make your runs more predictable for the rest of your playthrough. I was having fun trying to figure out every last thing going on, and that was very much ruined by the grind.

On our shared account here: Yeah Arc Raiders WAS charming in players mostly cooperative attitude for about it’s first two weeks, hooking in players like me that don’t usually play extraction shooters because of the over all toxic shoot on sight bs, then It devolved into extraction campers, and backstabbing lunatics that say don’t shoot only to shoot you down moments later. I got to around level 40 never having killed a single Arc Raiders then went back to Destiny 2 where I can play and excel I might add in Trials where the PVP is about skill and not being a little back stabbing rat. Haven’t played Arc Raiders since. Bet it’s even worse now. SMDH.

They’re not rereleasing the same game every year with minor iterations. The Switch 2 seems to be one of their first consoles that are merely an upgrade on performance in comparison to the original
Even the DS led to the 3DS

silent hill f is the most frustratingly terrible game in 25 years. i've been playing survival horror since 1996 and silent hill f is filled with cheap deaths with terribly restrictive controls. it is overpriced, boring and too short. i loved the setting and silent hill 2 & 3 are 2 of my favorite games but f is a middle finger to it's players.

next video idea: review bombed games that are actually good
i am enjoying starwars outlaws and avowed which got review bombed and trolled by community. i got outlaws in steam sale and i am having blast, same with avowed. outlaws felt like uncharted in starwars. idk why so many people gave negative to these games.

I'd take off Donkey Kong and Kingdom Come Deliverance. There was Never a universe where DJ wasn't going to do well considering how long ago the last release was and how limited the SW2 releases are. Kingdom didn't have the benefit of the big name articles knowing it'd be good but the players definitely did.

Personally I think Ninja Gaiden's combat would've been so much better if it only had animation cancelling, I mean asking people to fight with tactics in a fast paced game isn't fun! Imagine standing there and waiting for an enemy's attack just so you can counter it, it's kinda nuts especially as a Ninja!

Great video and very informative, but i need to call out one thing. Wish you would have said what escape from duckov was. You said the name, you said its great, you said it sold alot but you didnt really go into it what the game is. the gameplay still looks like shovelware

I recently read that 33 is getting some of the awards taking away for whatever AI generated etc etc seems to be a load of shit tbh game looks amazing and from the posts they took the pre made assets out before the release as they were only used for place holders

I can’t understand why Escape from Duckov, Schedule 1 even Bodycam are not on consoles. The developers are missing out on such a massive revenue stream. All there is on the PS5 store are fake games pretending to be the ones that are on PC

You know that little button meter with Ex33 on offense When you use an offensive spell and it has a little meter that shows you exactly when to push the button, so you know when Yeah I want that on defense. Then I'll love the game.

KCD2: it's hardcore. that was my main issue with the first game: I'd have loved it, but it felt like I've ticked the Hardcore box in the settings, and it was just more frustrating than fun. I guess the sequel won't be my game, either

I understand why people are upset that the game awards was just the expedition awards but they truly do deserve it. Expedition 33 was by far the most welcoming surprise of the year and will always hold its spot in my top 5.

KCD 2 was a very impressive release. At first the developers weren't even planning a performance mode on console and at release it was remarkably stable and polished, especially for the ambitious scale of the game.

Wish people would stop saying extraction shooters have already been tried. The only one anyone can give an example of is Tarkov. It hasn’t really been tried until now and it’s obvious that people like them.

It’s crazy that Clair Obscur sold so much even being on Game Pass right away.
I found the first Kingdom Come’s systems to be a bit much for me. This makes me think that the new one might be a bit smoother.
