One of my all-time favorite things to do in a game is in Watch Dogs 2, where you can get the ability to put out gang-hits or fake arrest warrants on people. There are multiple gangs in the game. What I would do is go to a gang hide-out and put out a fake warrant on a gang member. When the cops show up, I pick a cop and call up another gang (telling them the cop sold them out). 2nd gang shows up where the cops and first gang are currently involved in a shoot out. I then pick a gang member and call the cops again on them. Before long I have multiple gangs and cops all shooting at each other, while I just sit back and watch.

Hahaha, yeah I loved messing with the car damages in GTA4. What I would do is continuously smashing into other cars BACKWARDS to try to see, how short the rear of the car could get. Basically at some point I'd have the wheels be the furthest rear element of a car. They programmed it well, since you are not really damaging the engine, your car will keep going, when only the backside gets hit.The other way around: Rear engine cars would not get really damaged, if you smashed the front side, but blow up quickly, when the tail gets hit.

Two classics are Dungeon Keeper: slap your creatures! The Dark Mistress likes it, the Bile Demon will give you two fingers (flip you off if you're American) and Chickens just explode. But in DK 2 you can use the Possess Spell on a Chicken and wander around at random (and risk being eaten).
American McGee's Alice has the best idling though, it changes depending on the weapon you have equipped.

Trying to see exactly how far the in-game map goes. What are its limits. I travel to limits just to see what happens.
Every open world game I've ever played, I've drifted out towards the very border of the map for the fun of it.
See if I respawn, die, or just hilariously walk, drive, sail, or ride in place.

my favorite bored thing to do in World of Warcraft was see if I can climb mountains to see what's up there. Sometimes you could find hidden stuff still in development like the airport near that dwarf mountain base, shit, can't remember, its been probably 15 years since I broke my WoW addiction

There's a hidden parking lot in GTA 3. It can be accessed from another parking lot in the game by using a car to jump over a wall, that's actually very hard to get over. However if you do find it, there's a message on the other side of the wall that says -you're not supposed to be here-.

Have you played The Show 21? When you are pitching don-t throw a pitch after a while the catcher, ump, and hitter will still stand together and take a break.

3:30 Just Cause 3 is crazy when it comes to cars, you can drive it off a massive cliff, and if there's no water below, then it's still driveable
