Love stories like these!
My only comment is
First off, nothing against the women or other readers but I've found I sleep the best when it's Thomas or Simon reading.
Maybe have some of these stories told by multiple readers so we can choose
Otherwise I miss out on some of these great stories.
And before I get judged by others, I have PTSD, and so, yes, it matters.

Lovely, but the use of the pronoun they for the erudite friend has the effect of keeping me on my toes, as does the variable pronunciation of the final syllables of Palais Garnier. (Dont mind me )

What I would absolutely love is a story about traversing /swimming down a stream. Starting from the top of a hill at its source and drifting all the way down to the coast.
