I’m sure Vanessa is a lovely person and I could definitely listen to her if I were trying to stay awake. Vanessa has a lilt or pitches in her voice that is impossible to fall asleep to. At a certain point when I would relax I would suddenly be jerked wide awake from the loudness in Vanessa’s voice. She seemed to be grinning or even laughing in parts of the story that I didn’t find comforting at all. I was able to make it until it was time to take the Turkey out of the oven and had to shut it down. Her narration is more stimulating than relaxing. Maybe a little more practice in the way Thomas reads will help. I adore Thomas and now I always have to check each story to see who is narrating. I always chose Thomas even if it’s from a story I’ve heard 10 times. Nothing against Vanessa. She’s good at storytelling but not for sleeping and relaxation.

I'm so sorry Thomas but I don't like voice of the lady telling us the story. Your voice was relaxing in the beginning but then I heard her voice and I tried to listen on two nights but I couldn't relax. Sorry.
