I hate to leave a bad comment because a lot of others enjoy some of these other narrators. Unfortunately, everyone but Thomas has a voice that totally ruins the calming mood for me. This was the worst. I hate saying that, but it's the truth for me. Unfortunately back to the same ones for me and they are starting to not work because I've listened to them too many times. Heart felt THANK YOU for what you are doing though. Insomnia is no fun. My worst was 4 days straight and I still went to work every day. I know people who have had it worse. It's extremely hard on the body. The mind. And dangerous when you do what I do for a living. So again, thank you all for trying to help us. Sorry I don't enjoy everyone's voice. I mean no offense.

I only got 3 minutes in and I’m pissed and agitated. There have already been 2 historic detail mistakes that had me googling to verify my information.
All fibers were natural not manmade until the 1940s and the ice cream cone happened at the St Louis worlds Fair in 1903.
Don’t make glaring, easily preventable mistakes.
Now I’ll never get back to sleep.

Really looking forward to this story being that I'm from New England and have been to Bar Harbor numerous times over the years. Plus I absolutely enjoy reading or hearing about that time period. Thank you for sharing this wonderful bedtime story with us.

This looks alot more like the 19th Century- the 1800s - maybe it could be like 1910 but surely a theme devoted to the 20th century would be more like the 1940-50s. What you have here is far more representative of the 19th century!

This was my favourite thus far almost had illusions of grandeur for about two seconds, but thanks super story and fabulous narration, actually going to rewind it as woke up way too soon

I cannot listen to this one. I know the area. The pier, the hotels and family owns the icecream shop. My sons grandfather knew the history of the island and how the fire burned it down.

The story was too short. And the background noise isn't loud enough to hear with the fan or air running in my room. Story was great, but WAY TOO SHORT

I think all the narrators are talented but Thomas is my fav and why I got hooked. It’s hard when you are the talent and everything is busy.
