Absolutely loved this game, the whole power mechanics and controls were brilliant. How you swapped between them, the superspeed and flight. I loved the way it was metropolis had the health bar, since that's what superman is about, protecting the people. I reckon if they combined this with newer games like Infamous second son it'd be amazing! Destructable buildings too or maybe a morality based game? Someway to implement a 'bullet time' would be good too!

Ngl, I'd play this every so often and would not really be fond of how repetitive it was, remember that Bizzaro was in the game and finding a way to play as him when I was younger, not sure if I'm right bc honestly I haven't played the whole game, also ngl played it on the PS2 and Damm, looks pretty good on Xbox

one of the reasons i still refused to pick this game up is bcuz they use the city as super man's health bar. this has got to be the most BIZARRE and odd game design concept ever. the superman game that's also on ps2 that's based on the animated series did a much better job at the game design for a super man game.

You know what would be better than Justice League, the all alliance, which means, Super Man and the Justice League joining Goku, Liu Kang, Naruto and the resistance from Watch Dogs: Legion altogether, think about it. That would be an awesome alliance, it is just a thought or an idea.

I don-t know if this has already been said in the comments but I remember if you bring the injured civilians to ambulances the city would have have some portion of its health restored. I used to do so after every big fight when the enemies became tougher in the late game.

I think Superman actually lends itself to linear design rather than open world. Sending Superman on a tightly designed uncharted style journey will allow you to use his powers for puzzles and can make some of his overpowered qualities more acquiescent to game design.

I wonder why Batman tends to get better games than Superman does. I figured that a man with godlike powers would be easy to have fun with, but I guess not. It's not like video games starring dudes with freak superpowers can't be fun. Just look at Dragon Ball Z.

I used to play Superman returns on Xbox 360 when I was 12 years old but It was kind of hard for me in Different kind of levels and stuff because I was trying to Focus and concentrate too from this

They should let you recharge the metropolis health bar by saving people. It'd be very Superman to save people caught up in the crossfire while fighting bad guys at the same time.

It's a shame that while he Caped Crusader enjoyed A LOT of popularity in video games I. E. The Arkham Series, The Man of Steel wasn't so lucky.
