It's only natural for people to want to minimize the attention on the evil he has done, and instead prioritize the good, because we see everything from his perspective (just like how we are all biased towards ourselves when it comes to the majority of our actions. But he is NOT a good person. Joel's death at TLOU2 was completely justifiable. -
However, this isn't a criticism against Joel as the player, only Joel as a person. He is conflicted, just like the rest of Humanity, and this makes him relatable and a great protagonist. I hate protagonists that are created to be flawless, because no-one is actually like that in real life.

Only come out for -ESSENTIALS- and stay -3- feet away. Or was it -6- feet? They really like using numbers like 3, 6, 7, and 9. Not 2, not 4, not 5.
The only difference in this game is that the infection is -real-, but that's what caused people to think stuff in the air is also real. These games like Resident Evil 2 Remake set up the staged event perfectly, combined with a couple dozen deaths here and there with an ever increasing number of deaths on the TV screens.

Man, I remember during my first playthrough of this game, this scene (4: 46: 49) absolutely broke me, I genuinely started tearing up. Man, what an absolute masterpiece of storytelling this game was, not to mention the awesome gameplay.
And MKIceAndFire, stellar job on the walkthrough movie upload, you really made it flow and feel like a movie, I can't imagine how much time this took to edit XD.

And it wasn-t. And that made the ending perfect!
