In The Journey Begins, a lot of tarkatans lost against three Earth fighters as in Defenders of the Realm, against two. In Anihilation three tarkatans lost against one fighter.
Tarkatans, in spite of having long sharp blades in each arm, were nothing but punching bags, useless as fighters everytime they were needed. BUT in MK11 story mode, Kitana claimed that it was essential to have them on her side in order to overthrown Shao Kahn. Why?

I love that Reptile actually played an important role in Kotal's ascension. His years as Shang Tsung's enforcer made him privy to secrets only he would know, and by revealing Mileena's true origins, he convinced D'Vorah and Ermac to both turn against her in this moment. And Reptile did this all because Kotal was kind to him and treated him with respect. Kotal was something Reptile always wanted, a friend. The scaly ninja is cunning, hence why he's always been my favorite character.

My, MKX story was so compelling, even tho I don't like the plot-armored ending as well as the Kombat kids, the story building up towards that point was consistent and engaging, which is a fair expectation for a fighting game where story isn't the main focus, whereas 11, despite the better graphics (which should be rightfully so) is kinda messy

Tbh idk which Khan I liked better Kotal or Shao. Sure Kotal was a slightly more just and rational. But I think that Shao had a better grip as Khan just because of his strength alone and sheer will to stop at nothing to ensure he's rule. With that said I think Shao Kahn was the better.

So, hold on, here Kotal is like -we should get an alliance with Earthrealm because Netherrealm is about to attack- and calls Mileena a bad leader because she refuses, but later he does the same thing, he attacks Earthrealm because they're about to lose to the Netherrealm.

I think its pretty badass line, its shows Ermac not just a puppet like he was in MK9. Honestly Reptile and Ermac is very good in this scene.

It always strikes me as odd that everyone in-universe says Reptile's the dumb one when he's the one who knew that Mileena wasn't actually a true heir and pretty much used that to dethrone her.

It really was Ermac who betrayed Mileena: if he hadn't turned against Mileena and stayed at her side she probably would've defeated Kotal, Reptile and D'Vorah and carried on as Outworld empress.

Ermac, Reptile, Dvorah and Kotal are wrong as crap. Ermac served Shao Kahn after he (Ermac) was created by the same person who created Mileena(Shang Tsung. Reptile and the others betrayed her.
