He finally forgave himself, for his father, for his shortcomings, for his uncle, for being the Ghost. He broke the Eagle poison and is finally free, right as he liberates the island of the Mongols and redeems his name to the people who once resented the name Sakai.
Bravo Sucker Punch! Bravo! Truly the greatest DLC I ever played. Just perfection to such a perfect game.

I liked the DLC but I kind of expected some decision making similar to the end of the base game. Either relating to killing either Tenzo or Fune. Not that it needed that, but it would've been interesting to see for sure.
The much more grey setting of an island with a history of glorified warlord samurai and cruel raiders kind of fits having a possible grey and dark decision by the end. Regardless, still a good DLC.

I fought this earlier the first time, I'm playing on Lethal mode, and my resolve is minimal. I thought I was just gonna die over and over and try and try again, but when the music played, my mind immediately went -I can't lose now! The music is too epic for me to lose! - And then I fought and I couldn't believe myself when I won. I think I had a lot of practice from might fights in the Raider's Arena. XD

Tlou 2 had a very similar ending and people got angry Jin-s father wasn-t - good- joel wasn-t a -good- person either but tlou 2 gets shit for Ellie forgiving abby but Jin forgives that guy and everyone is like -mAsTeRpIECE-

The contrast between Tenzo and Ryuzo is astounding. Tenzo is a man that Jin should detest, but his integrity and ideals make him a steadfast ally. Ryuzo is Jin-s childhood friend and supposed ally, but in the end, his fear and greed won out and he died a traitor.

Once that flute came in I just went beast mode! It was just so stunning this whole scene. It's been a long time, not since Bloodborne or God of War, where the boss fights are just a spectacle and amazing to watch and play!

Such a disappointment. Completely ruined Jin's character and the entire story of the main game. And it was such a masterpiece. I guess the Eagle won in the end and really did break and remold Jin's mind into something perverse.
