nice playthrough but i see the game has Multiple instances of one of my pet peeves in survivor horror games; they use a zippo/lighter as a sustained light-source. makes me cringe every, single, time. unless you want to be abruptly holding a small rocket-hot piece of metal, want to experience what it's like to accidentally cast fireball or wanna be showered with bits of red-hot flint keeping any lighter ignited for more than 30 seconds isn't a good idea. a few seconds to get your bearings or escape an area is one thing, sight-seeing with one is quite another.

You guys may not believe me but it's true. Recently I found some similarities between House Of Ashes and Marvel Comics X men.
Basically Love triangle between Eric, Nick and Rachel is pretty much similar to those of Logan, Scott and Jean Grey. Jason is basically the Iceman of the team.
The rebels were similar to The brotherhood from X-Men comics. Salim is basically Avalanche of the opposing team while the general is basically similar to Magneto.
The vampires are basically Sentinels in house of ashes.

It's been many years since I've played games or actually really gotten into them. i only recently decided to buy a new console so that I could get the Harry Potter legacy game when it comes out this April and didn't want that to be my only game that I purchased since the hours in it won't take long I looked up hour games and this was one of the ones that came up along with visgae and soma I will definitely have fun with this one along side those I am so excited to play it.

Okay honestly, and this is me speaking as a Jurassic Park/World fan, if this gaming company who worked on the Dark Pictures Anthology were to make a horror game in the Jurassic Park/World universe, that could be very successful - new characters, different setting-. more terrifying dinosaurs like these monsters in this DLC, that would be a perfect story ---

I really hate them using the same characters in these story, when i look at someone i can't help but to remember them from past game and what role they play. Is hard for me to imagime them in these new roles. Is it really that hard to create new character faces in these games, just a beard or something can do but no they are so lazy using the same faces.

yaknow. this love triangle kinda killed this for me. Not going to lie. Big mission comes up. lets get upset because the beans are not spilled hours before a Big op. being chased by vampire things. yeah lets take a few mins to talk about the relationship. am I the only one? anyone else think it was just weird.

Man this game sux. Animations look very old. Eyes don't move too much. Human movements is sometimes too much. So many weird writing choices like Rachel using lighter to see into hole instead of flashlight on her head. Oveall looks weird and I can only say one thing - Uncanny valley.

This has been my favourite in the Dark Pictures Anthology. Really wanted it to be The Devil In Me, but House of Ashes was far more polished and it feels like an actual horror movie throughout.
