Im struggling to get through these. Its just generic open world gameplay until you hit the next cutscene. Even though ive beaten Halo 3 like 40 times I would much rather watch a lets play of that then this. But I already made it this far so might as well slog it out. (The cutscene in Halo 2 when the Pelicans are flying through New Mombasa and get shot at by the scarab has more going for it than this entire game)

Really hate the way they wrote this Cortana. Are we suppose to feel bad that she was going to be deleted? She was fine with it when we first met her. She should have understood that Chief was following protocol, but instead she got mad at him and gave him the cold shoulder? Really odd characterization and it feels like the writing team so desperately wanted us to feel attached to her.

Been watching these videos to skip purchasing the game myself and I'm enjoying it so far. My only complaint is your approach against the Hunters. You wasted all your ammo attacking their armor when you could just rush them and hit their backs. Chief had enough shield to tank multiple shots so there wasn't any danger really.

So here's my hot take.
I think John doesn't trust A. I because of what happened to Cortana, whom she looks almost identical to and is a constant reminder of his failure 1) save her in the 4rth game, and 2) delete/destroy in the events of the game.
I think Weapon is actually Cortana in disguise.

Back in my Halo golden Elites used to be Feared and defeated with strategy and a shit load of grenades. And the 2nd monitor it's so sad seeing an AI from the forerunner times being treated as a joke.

I feel like this game needs a leveling up system with as much killing you have to do. And some challenges like -get 100 grapple hook kills-. i hope those are still a thing
