I tried watching the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull video a couple days ago but lost interest about 10 minutes in.
It's just not the same having Indy as a Senior Citizen.
And Cate Blanchett looks better with long blonde hair instead of that brunette pageboy look.
Too bad he doesn't have Intergalactic-Age Regrow Gear so he'll be able to reform his aging body.
I'm going have access to it once my Hyperborean Army arrives.
Or I could draw up a model of it from Ancient Blueprint Schematics.
Either way, I'm not going to keep looking like this.

Where in the Heck did you get your fictional Hero info? Sherlock Holms, i can believe. Indiana Jones, no, not buying it. Yeah. I like those movies but to say Indiana Jones is the 2nd. Fictional Heros. Well Batman, Superman, for starters, and tons more. Robin Hood, King arthur, captain kirk. I hate when someone spouts of so called facts from only a select group of individials. Try to restrain that in the future.

KCS was the most disappointing sequel I've ever seen. Eric says the cinematographer tried to emulate the old movies and not use so much CG? The whole last half was pretty much CG and its over the top fight scenes and general implausibility just ruined the whole movie. That being said, thats a dope vacuform build, I see a lot of possibilities there.

what you could do, is do up to the whole mold thing, and then use floor resin to create a solid casing, then slowly filling it in two pieces. The resin would be clear and shiny, and then you can use stuff like plastic wrap on the inside to create the crystal effects.

I wonder how some white low temp wax slushed around inside it would look. Thin layers would be almost clear with a white tint and would not be hot enough to deform the plastic. This would add strength and weight since light props of heavy objects never look right

Moving on is important. I think it's good that they now have a cool new show similar to BFX.
Think of BFX as the training, now you get advanced tutorials building on what you've allready learned! :D

If your pull some styrene over the top of the skull first and then the PETG over the top of that, you'd get a cleaner pull. That's if your buck has things like clay, paint, or bondo that can pull off.

Looks great Erik, I always enjoy it when you add your own props within a actual sequence of a real film, cant wait for some more episodes

I really like FX reboot. Much better than BFX.
If we could only see more FX riddled movie be dissected. that'd be amazing

Hasn't this guy heard of smooth on resin products? Affordable and it would produce a much higher quality end result.

that looked great. just an idea. what if you had made the jaw separately and attached to the skull later on
reply

surely you could of perhaps painted the front of the inside face to bring the detail up a bit in the light?

Please make a tutorial on how to make a vacumformig table. Iv really think it would come in handy with mask making.
