My first Wedding Film is on the 18th and I wanted to put Magic Lantern on my t3i so I can record for a longer time period. Have you ever had anything go wrong or think of anything that I need to watch out for while using it?

I just lost my camera i only had a canon Powershot 100 i not sure but i only spent $100 for it with a tripod and extra memory card and a case. now i am using my mytouch from 2 years ago. it sucks.

Interesting! I've always thought of perspective distortion only from a still-image standpoint, haven't considered how it affects motion. Thanks for the clear explanation, the examples were great. :)

You said that IBM's lens magnifies things 100 times their size, but you missed a couple of zeroes regarding that magnification. A Boy and His Atom is magnified 100 MILLION times their size.

no wonder you lost and gained followers, you lost people interested in making cheap fx to gsin nerds who NEEEED to know how to change a lens really incredible guys, gone downhill so much.

Under each video, you'll see an Add to link, where you can create a new playlist. I start my playlists as private, then switch them to public after I add the annotations.

28mm, on a full-frame camera, like the 5D, would look good on the Glidecam, but not on a crop-sensor camera. You saw how tight a 35mm lens was at 3: 03.
reply

you should make a video about actual film moovie making, like super 8, or 16mm, super 8 filming is super simple, and kind of cheap too
reply

When you mention all of the focal lengths around 2: 40 do you mean a 35mm lens on your crop sensor camera or 35mm full frame?
reply

I have the HD2000, but I've noticed the cheaper, lighter HD1000 works just as well on my lightweight camera.

The word you're looking for is perspective. You don't use lenses to distort reality, you use politicians.

I was thinking in my head Atoms are much larger than I thought.
A thought reflecting on a thought.
