MOXIE looks like a great idea with the smartphone controller. However it would be nice to see the price drop. So many amateur film makers complain to me that they just can't afford the equipment to look pro. They work a day job and do this on the side. History teaches us, sell more for less. The reason an ARRI camera and genuine SteadiCams cost so much is because they don't sell millions. Lower the price point and watch how many more you sell.
And yes, pro equipment cost much also to restrict the field. But we are depriving ourselves of a lot of great films by over pricing equipment.

I once went gorge walking so obviously had no phone or anything on my just me in my wetsuit. At the end of the climb looking down the gorge I wished I had some way to capture the view at the top which this would have been ideal for!
Having a camera I can bring where I don't bring my phone and where I don't want to carry anything is worth sacrificing some camera quality in my opinion.

Griffin, what are your thoughts on the recently announced Sigma FP? It's great to see Sigma reaching out to the filmmaking market with such a small camera, but will it be worth leaving the now-established players like Panasonic, Sony, and Canon?

This is literally one of those horrible $20 0. 3 megapixel keychain cameras from the grocery store but in exchange for 720p, you literally trade away your ability to see what the hell you're pointing the camera at. And it's $110.

When you see an camera maker that makes its sensors produce a strange camera with odd number of pixels (another example is Sony RX0, it means that they have plenty of faulty sensors they want to use for something.

The camera takes just as bad pictures as the zoemini prints. All scrap. Maybe the early 90s would have been good.
