It's like no one is even aware of Gillian Anderson, or other Gillians who use the original pronunciation (btw, using a G is also the original spelling of the name. The J version came about very recently. Before the 60's/70's, it was always spelled with a G, way back hundreds of years. Just in case people wonder why even use a G? That's why)
Again, not dissing it, but it's definitely an alternate pronunciation, not the default. I feel bad for her.
