I loved the movie. Mel Gibson was so handsome in his 20's and early 30's. Drop dead gorgeous. Unfortunately, his life style and personality caught up with his face after that. Not a nice guy and a hard drinker. Aged terribly.

Im in Okinawa now and Ive been to Hacksaw Ridge many times and its hard to believe what went on here on this island and what Doss did. Those men are heros who went to hell and back.
