What many people miss is this is a story of women who were treated horribly by men and the upper class society.
Mary was used and lied to by the son of her employers, and when she discovered her pregnancy she told the father and he gave her $5 and would ruin her reputation. She ultimately had no choice, but yo attempt an abortion. Grace had a horrible and abusive father and she was placed in a home as a servant as was quite happy, until Mary dies and then the employers son tries to come in her room at night, and if he would of succeeded, it was the women who were at fault, never the men.
Nancy was also a victim of this treatment by predators.
She became pregnant and desperate and was willing to do anything to survive.
What a horrible time for the poor an women to exist under the ruling class.

after the horrible gif comment you can see her rubbing her arm in discomfort at times. I only watched because of Sarah but I can't go on anymore. Jimmy Kimmel is despicable and you need only watch his Megan Fox interview to see that.
