the dude spends only 1/10th of the movie's time on screen and still is hands-down the most memorable character when compared to the main cast that lacked depth except maybe for the blind old dude (Stephen Root) that also barely gets any screen time.

The whole shady name debate that his chosen name is a liability and will have a diminishing effect on his career, negatively effecting how others perceive his talent and skills, annoyed me. I'm glad Lil Rel stood his ground and spoke positivity and success into his decision. Like ughh, the condescension.
