I recently got this done at the age of 52. And there's more to it than just drinking a flushing substance within 24 hours prior to the procedure - there's a 4-day low fiber diet, abstaining from wheat, nuts, kernels, legumes, pulp & gristle, anything that doesn't digest along with all other foods. Then you have to drink clear, translucent liquids in between two doses of the mixture that tastes like stale Gatorade. The anesthesia really does wonders; I have no memory of it happening, but I'm glad I got it done!

Seems they didn't remove all the BS in Kimmel.
Can't stand his show, him, and the rest of Talk TV(Except for COCO.
It's so agenda driven it's not funny, LITERALLY they are NOT funny.
They weren't that funny before Trump and got exponentially worse after their continual to this day TDS.
Should of had a Lobotomy instead.

Lucky in the states they put you full asleep. In Canada, BC, for my procedures anyway, youre awake for the procedure, until you swear and scream for a few minutes and THEN they put you full asleep.

Im 52 and having my first colonoscopy tomorrow and I was told I should watch this and Im certainly happy that I did. My best friend passed away 7 years ago from colon cancer and he was way too young.

I just had my colonoscopy. Turning 50 this past June isnt fun. But thanks Jimmy Kimmel for the education. And also thank you Katie Couric. Mine was clean and getting the next one in 10 years.

Thank you Jimmy! Just got diagnosed with colon cancer and was looking for you tube videos on the subject. This was made me laugh but also encouraged people to get their screening!

I came up positive on a cologuard screener. I have a colonoscopy scheduled for April 14 to see if it is a false positive or if I have cancer. I am nervous as hell.
