My parents saw each other on the day of their wedding (only in one photo before that) and were 27 and 23 when they got married. The question to what if you don't like each other is - there is no room for such a question is conservative middle class Indian families. You just work it out till death.
The only thing that has improved over generations is people getting to talk and decide like this couple here, but it is still choosing your life partner before actually getting to know them.

Yeah but you can't just make fun out of ones culture. Though arrange in a view they are much better than one followed in wester countries. Though arrange we have much lower divorce rate at 10% or less as compared to there 60%. who prefer to marry for 2, 3 or 4 times. they don't understand how it affects there childrens who continue to follow same thing

Dont mock to arrange marriages, couple of arrange marriage live together until death, and most of them never get married again. (But in india only) because they love each other. Some quarrels happens between them but they learn how to adjust. And even they live in joint family.

As the name suggests the parents arrange for the guy and the girl to meet, the final decision lies with the guy and the girl. Unlike America where 50% of marriages fail, India has lowest divorce rate in the world. So yes this concept works.

My opinion is this couple insulting India on international TV. Not every indian do arrange marriage and not everything happens forcefully. It's a misconception. Young generation is pretty different than yours thinking.

Not gonna lie this couple was cute, this arranged marriage is kinda like gambling, if you get a jackpot (a perfect partner) you win but if you get some one who you dont like at all its nearly half of your life waste

Jimmy was such a to the poor husband. And the wife isn't much better. I think the husband looked actually super hot so I don't understand why she was so stand offish and wouldn't even let him speak to the mic.

Concept of arrange marriage is alien to west. infact its simple coz parents know a child very well and they know what it work for their child in a long run and that's why US has high divorce marriage

Most Indians are more tolerative in a relationship and not fight each other for simplest trash things.
