I attended the Downton Abby movie premiere on September 20th - didn't disappoint, the sarcasm flew back & forth & so did the humour. The period drama was what you would expect from that time period & it was interesting to see where the various characters lives had taken. There were a few scenarios that left opportunities open for a follow up movie to this one, bring it on, already have ideas: !

Just LOVE Hugh Bonneville. Pure charm, terribly handsome and he always seems so upbeat and positive. Also extremely funny - his comedic roles are wonderful too, like one of Hugh Grant's hapless friends in Notting Hill. Very Happy that Downton has been such a gift to this ensemble.

To me hes like a British version of James Gandolfini, as they both portrayed such iconic characters and they are nothing like their characters in real life, which shows how amazing actors they are/were.

I looooove Downton abbey but the movie was. just meh. Loved seeing the cast of course, some of it was great but overall lukewarm, no plot and forgettable. Love the show though.
