There's an old saying, something to the effect of If you didn't vote, then you don't have the right to complain about the results. Last election 61% of eligible voters did not even bother to vote. And look at what happened as a result of that wide-spread apathy.
Do you (Jimmy and his script writers) think it is a good idea to do a skit portraying Bernie as old or Elizabeth Warren as shrew? -- even if they were meant as a joke to be funny. So, how about refraining a bit from castigating two of the most qualified candidates -- especially with clearly false ideas or going on and on and on about how old they are. Other than JFK, most presidents ARE old, because with age comes experience and wisdom (usually. And we've seen what happens when someone with no experience, education, or rationale gets in control -- let's try to avoid that this time around if possible.
Since you (Jimmy) and Sal seem like Hey, who cares kind of guys, how about you consider using your very commercially large and powerful platform to encourage people to get the frock out and vote this time around -- you could be like a poster-child for the who cares portion of our populous. Send Sal out to harass people to see if they voted (not who they voted for) and work that angle a bit, instead of implying to your audience that no one is a good candidate, and we end up in the same situation all over again.
Just wanted to offer a different perspective.
