Ive told this story before but it bears repeating I was a nurse in the 70s-80s. I was taking care of young girl in a coma. She was an avid fan of Kenny Rogers. I put his poster on the ceiling & when I took care of her played his music. Eventually she slowly came out of her coma but had months of rehab. During that time Kenny was coming to Santa Clara venue. I wrote along w her mother her story. When he came she was a vip special guest along w her mother & I. He paid for the ambulance that brought us. After his performance he met w us spent an unknown amount of time, gave her flowers and visited, waiting w us till the ambulance which had been called away on a run returned. He paid for the ambulance to and from the hospital. He stressed that we were never to publicize what he done. Which made the whole experience even more special. He will always hold a special place in this young girl, her mother & I hearts. RIP Kenny Rogers.

I'm from the east coast met family on the west coast awhile back. I was lucky enough to drive some family members and friends to a Commodores concert in San Francisco. We sat on the left side of the stage middle. Loved when he and the piano rose up steam coming out lights went out then had color lights coming down. He was wearing a white suit: D. I've only been to that concert not counting smaller ones. Thank You, Lionel and group, and now Kimmel xD Blessings Everyone
