Im from SoCal and am 51, too, and have such great Rock of the 80s, then the 90s, KROQ memories from that time. If one of our favorite alternative bands were being interviewed, wed race to the station to wait outside the booth to get their autographs. All the DJs were so nice to us. We were nuts for Depeche Mode, but No Doubt was a local band to us, and we adored them. And those relatively small-scale KROQ events they mentioned are so memorable.

Its weird that she didnt acknowledge the original No Doubt lead singer who sadly committed suicide. He actually started the band No doubt with her brother. The band name came from him always saying no doubt. Instead she said the band started with her and her brother. thats not true.

The video Slow Clap was filmed at my sons high school Verdugo Hills in Tujunga. He told me weeks ago, that his school friend saw Gwen Stefani & Ice Cube at his school, making a video. I watched the video the other day, but I didnt see Ice Cube in the video.
