Not to rain on all of this, but the trash in the ocean is wet, and I'm sure they're not drying it before they weigh it. 30 million pounds of wet trash being dragged out of the ocean is not the same as 30 million pounds of trash in its original form when it went into the ocean, which I'm sure is how we're calculating the amount that we've put into the ocean. JUST SAYING. We're going to need to take out much more than we've put in.

If you think about it, the pollution aint really from humans littering. ITS MOSTLY FROM
NATURAL DISASTERS THAT HAPPENED ALL OVER THE WORLD LIKE TSUNAMIS & etc. Broken bits & pieces comes from the houses or things that got washed away into the ocean. We humans are not evil nor bad, some are, not all. But it takes golden hearted people like these two, to come forward to try to clean it all up. Its gonna take years.

I feel like its not gunna work, i honestly feel like the world will work itself out, we cause a problem we try n fix it we cause another problem, like gas cars, we switch to electricity, just gunna cause another problem. when are people gunna figure out that humanity is too arrogant n just let the planet do what it does to fix itself? shrug
