A teenager named Zach Montana uncovered a long-held family secret: his dad wrote and sang an awesome song that he never released. Zach loved the song so much he made a video in his car playing it and posted it to TikTok. It now has 3. 2 million views. This American Life did a story about an American Band that did one single that did nothing in the states, but they were like the Beatles in Japan.
30 something years later they reunited and went on a month long tour filling stadiums.

This is a great song! But I see why it was slept on in 1978, if it had come out a few years earlier it wouldve been a massive hit with the sound it has!
Still a wholesome story and song I low key thought would be fake

Not like Curly hasn't enjoyed some previous success. Spirit, Jo Jo Gunne, Boston for example. This is fun for sure though. He played a small club of ours in a band called Pumpkin in the late 60s.
Zach's a cool kid.

So no mention of the fact he is a member of Boston? Of course Jimmy knows this. They make it seem like he is like an unknown person in the music industry.

Most people thought disco sucked through most of the 80s and 90s, so it actually works that this song came out when no one thinks disco sucks anymore.

I always thought this was the song Timberlake and Fallon were singing in their skits where they're two of the Gibb brothers

The best thing that ever came out of Tiktok.
What a cute story and an awesome song, can't stop listening to it!

Kudos to the camera team for adding the 70s video effects for the live performance. Really felt nostalgic
