Why is it that no talk show host, not even a guest host will ever joke with a comedian guest by sitting down first?
Is that one of the things that will get a host fired or something? It never matters who sits first. So what's the deal?
And don't waste effort with that old, played out respect excuse. Respect is how you talk to a person, how you treat them as a person. Has nothing to do with sitting nor the sequence in which sitting takes place.
Just get your plugs out of the way. What crap are you trying to work on now? THAT would have been disrespect. Sitting first intentionally, I feel would be funny at times. Especially with Hart. Hart could have fed off of that and had the audience laughing before any conversation took place.
