Sweet Kumail or Emily or anyone, we had a cat live to 21 and you can find videos of cats at 30 eating scrambled eggs and looking grumpy. I'm guessing Bagel has kidney issues - get the prescription food, put out an extra water bowl or fountain, give wet food as a snack for hydration, ask if any of her meds can be transdermal or liquid in a syringe. Two choices for pilling: Get on your knees and back up the cat until its butt is against you. When you do the head tilt and the jaw pressure to pill them, they're going to back up and there's nowhere to go, just you. Option 2 is to get a partner, take a large towel and roll cat into Purrito, then one holds them while you try to angle your pill drop.
Finally, if you can afford it, look up a mobile vet. They come to you! Meds, checkups, helping make sure your layout is good for bones and joints. When the time comes, they are the absolute sweetest and it's a familiar and comfortable ending where you don't have to make that final awful drive to the vet.

Most vet medications come in liquid or suspension form. My geriatric cats that lived to 17. 5 and 19. 5 years and were on medications were, for the most part, on oral liquid meds a vit B12 injection only because the injection form was good for1l 1 vs giving the med daily by mouth.

It's good to have guests that are naturally funny, this way the segment flow has organic comedy, the hosts doesn't have same pressure to carry the segment on his shoulder and they catch a break and enjoy with their real laugh!

I love his segments from Portlandia he is so hilarious! Fun to see two naturally funny people riff off each other like that! Also I felt the same exact way when the vet told me my cat was geriatric at 7, so offended!
