Flashbacks to the Graham Norton show.
They don't want to listen to a shy man talking about putting together plastic armies! They want to hear of the glory of the Emperor of mankind and the great battles against the mutant, the xenos and the heretic! It's time to purge the late night talk shows of the corrupting influence of the chaos, turn all hosts into servitors and install bricky and DK instead!
FOR THE EMPEROR!

I have seen quite a few interviews of HC, very few interviewes were able to do him justice and let him show his wit and intelligence, but I have seen many interviews with other people who spoke highly of him: an absolute gentleman and a fantastic actor, a really beautiful person inside and out, a gentle soul, commited, professional, stoic, intelligent, eloquent, generous, great cook. Respect.

I got into warhammer in the late 90s here in the US, and built many armies. it really is about building your own models, painting them, and and then seeing how they do in against others. you get really into the roleplaying. was a ton of fun. Love the worldbuilding, and depth of lore, excited to see it finally make it to the big screen.

love it when hollywood and all that business keeps pushing the nerd narrative and whats awkward and whats not. like its not completely arbitrary and hollywood is full of meaniningful stuff. and yes i count these kind of talkshows to hollywood as a synonym for all that movie and show business

I think maybe Jimmy is a bit intimidated by Henry. Henry is a renaissance man if you ask me! He is a man with many hobbies and interests without arrogance and bravado. I think he unsettles people because he is the whole package and he is intelligent and not a jerk.

There's a thing called the Superman curse, where every actor who dons the red cape ends up with some troubles either in their career or personal life. I think the curse genuinely loves Henry as much as we do and gave him a free pass.

I used to play 40k (among others) years ago, I loved it. Sadly all my friends who I used to game with have since died, even my son. All my armies are now gone. Great Hobby! FWTW the Late Robin Williams was a 40k player also.

If Kimmel makes fun of Cavill for being a nerd like this, I shudder to think about how he'd behave around a more vulnerable nerd who didn't look like Cavill: P I know the mockery is deliberate but it's still a bit urgh

I bet that just off of Jimmy's head he can't whistle me the Superman Theme instrumental from John Williams within 1 minute without rehearsing. One tends to fall into The STAR WARS Theme too easily.

So he’s been painting Custodes. I wonder if that’s a subtle hint that the Warhammer movie/series will be about Valdor (note: this is a jokethough I wouldn’t mind being right.

My son paints and builds these too. It's like Battleship, chess and other games my kids played years ago. Plus, I gave them the warriors from Japan to build, and they loved it.

I can't wait to get some Cavill empowered Warhammer content soon, and I wish so badly it will be amazing and not another failed/cancelled flop that other companies have been pushing out

Jimmy need to learn how to converse smoothly with an other human being. Cavill gave him so much material to work with and Jimmy just tried too hard to be funny. Maybe it’s just me

I thought the Superman comment was a little insensitive and in poor taste considering the Superman drama. love Henry as supes. Terrible decision on dc's part.

Zack Snyder and WB did him dirty. How do you cast the most charming and handsome person as Superman, and then somehow make him look bland in your movies

As a geek and a nerd, I am happily validated by Henry Cavill and his shameless love of his nerd hobbies. He is the Uber-geek! Be your true self, people.

Henry is so inteligent for jimmy's mindset! We all know that henry's interviews get viral
And jimmy know it and wants this awkwardness

Warhammer is actually pretty rad and a lot of normal successful people play despite the neck beard nerds associated with such nerd hobbies

Would Henry Cavill beat Bigfoot in a fight Dumbest question ever and the audience is coaxed into clapping and cheering. How embarrassing.
reply

Henry Cavill and Andrew Garfield have something in common. They both played their super hero roles perfectly in mediocre movies.
