I can tell you right now that Clooney's idea is NOT going to determine the outcome of the election. He's wrong, and he's got a specific type of beef that has to do with his wife's work. The New York Times has a beef with Biden because he would not do a sit-down interview when the NYT demanded it. It's that freaking simple. Oh, that and the fact that NYT is owned by a trump donor. Every single major media company is owned by a trump donor, which includes CNN, NBC, CBS, ABC, MSNBC, New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal.

Stick with President Biden because. Run or don't run Harris you lose. The CBC, CLC, unions are firmly behind Biden as are the polls showing over age of 60 voters. Newsom, yes he would be great but needs a two year build up. Without that you lose. So the candidate will have to be a well known revered black man that can appeal to the senior voter while appeasing the progressives in the party. THATS a heavy lift. Stick with Joe or lose.

Think of it this way, if Joe stays in and he turns out to be too old then you get Kamala Harris as your POTUS, that's not a bad deal. If he drops out you get 2 and a half months to all get behind a new candidate and running mate and the only Democrat who stepped up to challenge Biden in 2024 was Dean Phillips. Dean who Good luck with that.
