Last of US ended at S02E02. it was about Ellie and Joel. now that he is gone. there is no point watching it anymore.
Joel was right anyway.
- Not science, wishful thinking: The Fireflies hoped they could extract a cure by dissecting Ellie’s brain.
- Fungus, not virus: You don’t vaccinate against parasitic fungi the way you do against viruses. There’s no track record here. This isn’t the flu. It’s Cordyceps, a brain-eating fungus.
- One subject = nothing: No control group. No reproducibility. No margin of error. The only immune person on Earth was about to be turned into a cadaver on a guess.
- Ethics thrown in the trash: No consent. No real choice. No time to say goodbye. That’s not noble sacrifice. That’s human experimentation under a white flag.
- Fireflies were collapsing: Even if a miracle cure emerged, who was going to distribute it The Fireflies couldn’t keep their own lights on.
Saving humanity sounds nice when you’re not the one bleeding for it.

It's ironic, when I first played the game I felt like the character Abby was over the top being all muscular. Come to years later and I found her portrayal of Abby lacking because she's skinny. I read the director said it wouldn't be realistic to have a bulky abby, ok, but her role is a badass whether it's in the game where she faces guys and zombies head on, or in the show where she hasn't shown much yet but Isaac mentions he considers her as his replacement essentially bc of how much of a badass she is, this actress doesn't quite have the expression of a fierce soldier. Tbf Bella Ramsey doesn't either. When I see her in the show all I can see is the little lady from the north lands in GoT. I was kinda expecting an actress with the build of someone like Rhonda Rousey to play Abby.

I'm Australian and I didn't know her before Apple cider vinager. I kid you not, I thought she was Australian. The Aussie accent is very hard to do and most people cannot do it. One single wrong vowel sound, one single sound and it shows if you're faking it or not Australian, have lived overseas or English is not your first language. She absolutely nailed it, seriously. There are next to no American actors who have naturally showcased an Australian accent. She is a true chameleon and expert in her craft. When watching the last of us 2, I was listening to her accent the entire time trying to catch her slipping up and exposing her Aussie accent like often happens when they move to Hollywood haha.

Her performance in Unbelievable was truly such. Also don't hate on her o any of the other actors for the poor decisions the writers have made. She got told not to train for the role of Abby while Bella got put in training for jiujitsu & such & got none of those combat scenes included on the tv show. Also following the writing patterns since the first season, I suppose Abby's side of the story might end up getting some of those patterns but I swear y'all better not hate on Kaitlyn. When she delivered some of her lines on the finale, she sounded exactly like Laura Bailey, man.

I am on S2E4, but they ruin the show, it looks like AMC's zombie series, Ep 2 should have been season final, it was epic like GOT style. And they could have killed him but involve turning him int a special intelligent contaminated zombie.

So far I must say Kaitlyn Dever was absolutely outstanding as Abby in Season 2 and knowing that there is going to be an Incoming third season that's all about her couldn't make me more hyped to see her again slaying that role diffrently.

She is absolutely perfect as Abby. I don’t care that she isn’t jacked like in the game. She perfectly balances that unbearable rage with her heartbreaking vulnerability. I can’t wait to see her have her story told next season.

Never really liked Abby as a character (even though I get where she's coming from, but I like Kaitlyn Dever as an actress. She's doing solid work, and I can see her career only going up from here.
