It's a shame you didn't encounter strays -- I always liked how random dogs and cats would show up in the neighborhood for your sims to pet (although it sucked when the dogs would make puddles to clean up. I think the dogs (the strays at least) will sometimes attack the raccoon (maybe the skunk, too, not sure. The raccoon and skunk can actually be trapped in a doorless room (I always just built a fence around them, but they can't be killed as far as I know -- I tried burning them, but they were still there unaffected when the fire cleared. Characters like the clown and the grim reaper will just teleport when fire comes into contact with them -- I don't think the fire even affected the grim reaper.
The birds will automatically wake any sims that fall asleep if they're in the same room -- ringing phones, televisions, music, and maybe even computers left on (basically anything that makes noise) will do the same. You should have built a wall around the birds, or sold them: D Sims will not use the toilet when someone else is in the same room even if the relationship is maxed out and in love (although it looked as if passing neighbors that weren't greeted might be exceptions in a previous video. That wall tool can come in handy, even if it's nothing more than a cheap, $10 fence: p

Oh wow, I actually had a similar glitch happen in Sims 3 where one of my sims was stuck playing the guitar while the rest of the house went next door for a wedding and nothing I did would get her to stop till I did the sim reset cheat and to make it even more messed up that same -day- she went to take a shower before work, the shower broke and she was walking around in the buff without the censor blur(it seems the game registered her as having her clothes on) and even went to work like that.

I just want you to know that I still watch all your Sims 1 play through every now and then on a semi regular basis. Maybe twice a year! So much nostalgia and your commentary is just hilarious. I was house sitting for a friend the other week and she has her computer hooked up to the big TV so I watched all your Sims 1 videos on the big screen while getting ready for work! It was great! Anyway, thanks for the laughs.

bahahahahaha grim is on fire. yea i remember when i was a kid and we would go to New Orleans they would be on every corner with the saxs. one might have a trumpet. my sister and i would be dancing in the streets. ah those where the days. i get so home sick sometimes. texas is so different form south la. its like a whole different world. :.

The worst thing about Vacation was when the vacation car would get stuck at your house after coming back from vacation and either stay there for the entire rest of the day or until you'd literally have to go out of that household and come back in. Didn't happen too often, but happened often enough that it would be annoying.

I think I'm the only one who prefers sims 3 over 1 and too, yeah these are good games with their own charm, but sims 3 has much more detail and in my opinion gameplay. I always was a big sims 3 fan even though I played both sims 1 and 2: / And as usual nice and funny lets play: )

Unleashed is a better expansion then simply -Pets- since the entire aesthetic of it blended with the pets nicely. Great addition probably one of my favorite just because it enhanced the size of the town, something was very much needed since the start of the game tbh.

That vacation van cracked me up in conjunction with your entire lawn; endless honking while Duke is on the phone attached to the only wall which also supports a toilet for all to see, birds are everywhere, and a love bed is smack up against the road haha

Hey LGR, I watched this video, search The Sims 1 Intro PC 2 (Alternative Intro), and I was thinking it was 50 percent fake. When you installed Unleashed, with all the other expansion packs before this one, was the intro like the one in the link?
