Skip ahead to the timelapse build: - Grab your own LEGO PC by Chris McVeigh Tom: Where is the life size Lego PC build Clint) that would be awesome, I kinda want to do this myself, been getting into lego again, collected most of my old Lego set from mothers attic, build my old set, to separate it from brothers old set, and I ended up with some cool lego. Now Im looking at buying more lego, and especialy I want to collect enough Lego, to make an actuall Lego pc, sure I made a rapsberry case with lego, I did that first like probably 2012-14, and messed around changing the design on it a few times, did it again last night) but something that would be big enough for like a micro atx, and actuall PC, mayby something like a XP, mayby win98 as that what I grew up with. well I think it has to be able to run Lego rock raiders, I know lego loco runs nice on XP, but ah nostalgia. I looked on some PC lego case online, personaly I think it would be awesome to make it look as realistic as possible, and like a generic beige early 2000, late 90's case. If u do like a many many hours video building a case like that I will watch every seconds of it, multiply times)

Weird. I always really hated the realistic lego sets -- like it just seemed boring to me -- even the IBM PC kit, while it's neat. it's kind of -boring- to me? (Definitely nostalgic). but like, but I would much rather have a swords and sorcery fantasy castle set, with some crazy two-headed ogre guy wielding a scimitar. -- I do appreciate the video though -- in a sense it saves me from having to buy the kit, because 100% of the enjoyment I would have got from it, I can get from watching you build it instead. (And I don't have to store and dust it) -- And yes, you can totally still buy a bucket of Legos. - -- And I disagree, 8-bit ISA cards were HUGE on the XTs -- they usually took up the entire front-to-back space of the case and in some models bolted in on both sides. like you think GTX 1080 TIs are big. try an original CGA card! -

Ninja Turtles in brick form roll call out of the sewers.
LegoNardo, Brickelangelo,
ConectaTello, Stackphiel,
- woh hold up these new Lego characters came straight out of the sewers? that's disgusting yo I mean it's so nasty and stuff. -
uh hey we don't mean they came out of the sewers directly ok it would be unsanitary and we are a clean friendly company you have nothing to worry about.
- oh alright well lets get Lego bricks together and start making some cities and things. -
sounds like a great idea and you Lego builders at home can enjoy making Legos whatever you want them to be.
- I made a pizza restaurant oh now I'm getting hungry so gonna go eat then come back to more building. -
exellent idea.

when i was kid. god, so many years ago, we got either a bucket or a box of 200 or whatever legos. We also had a denim bag to put them in. Then again we also Lincoln logs, tinker toys and erector sets to build skyscrapers with. It's been a very long time since iv'e thought about these things. (for what it's worth the electronic kits, like a crystal radio or chemistry kits were far more popular)

Being really nitpicky, the circuit boards on the ISA cards are the wrong way round. ISA cards had the top of the boards and the brackets facing towards the top/power supply end of the case, whereas PCI reversed the convention so that users could place either a PCI or an ISA card in the same slot to help with backwards compatibility.

I really enjoy the uncut stream of consciousness experience of this video. Your humor really shines when it's off the cuff, and your ability to casually transition between different subjects in a conversational manner is especially apparent in this type of format. Really entertaining, as well as as insightful.

Mixed emotions now. Went to check what models this guy offers, and he doesn't sell them anymore, which is a bummer. But he only stopped selling them because he actually got a job AT Lego! Really happy for him, but a shame these kits aren't going to continue to be available.

UPDATE: After 8 fun years, Chris McVeign closed his custom Lego store and moved to Denmark to work for LEGO. It-s a dream come true to him you guys! Amazing! His store closing announcement is still posted in his website. Linked in the description of this video.

Im at 56 mins and im hella unsatisfied by the fact that the monitor isn't attached to the pc frame. I know that not hoe its supposed to be but in reallife the parts had enough weight to not move by themselves.

9: 06 that's from the paradisa theme from the mid 90's which was a controversial theme because it was suppose to be for girls only, and that's how everyone was like: it wasn't suppose that lego is universal?
