Its crazy I was binging your old stuff when this popped up and I noticed you had a copy of Rocket Jockey! I Loved that game as a kid. When I was younger I had an old HP Pavilion desktop ( the one with the cool CD tray built in) and we went to the supermarket it was the Save a lot store. Well when we went to the store I was given my allowance of 10 dollars and I went off to spend it. Well the aisle I always went to was the toy aisle and at the end they had a little rotating shelf with all kinds of videos and Bargain Big box PC games.
I would look all the time but most the time it was games I already had until one day I saw Rocket Jockey! There was like 30 of em all thrown on the shelf as the store got a lot of runoff from unsold better store products so they were like 5 dollars each I bought a copy and couldn't wait to get home to try it out. I was remember loading it up and playing it for like 6 hours straight in my room. Those were some good times.
I know you probably wont see this especially on a 4 yr old video but I love your content so so much. Your work resonates with me! I love your enthusiam for tech is amazing I also have to say I love your thrifting stuff as well and I have spent many hours in the thrift store with my mom digging around the media and tech sections. I hope in 2021 you are doing good and that you keep getting good things in your life.

At 1: 55 that version of URU is semi-playable. It gives the original single player campaign, and I don't know if it's available but you can get the first single player expansion -To D'Ni- for free. (If you want -Path of the Shell- you need to find it)
The MMO part of the original Uru (which is what -To D'Ni- and -Path of the Shell- actually are; the MMO parts single-playerized) might or might not work. You can get the MMO part now for free.
If you want a better version get the -Complete Chronicles- version, which has all the single player content in one.

Edna & Harvey and The Whispered World are classic Point-and-click adventures by the German studio Daedalic Entertainment from the late 2000s. They reviewed very well in the German press and are beloved by fans because of the crazy plot and creative riddles in both games. In the international press and marked, however, they were not received very well. I guess this has to do with German preferences towards games (Point-and-click adventures were never really out of style here.

Watching on a TV with decent stereo or through 80 dollar AKG headphones the audio was just fine. It definitely sounds different, but not worse at all. A lot better actually. It sounds more open, balanced and like it would be in real life. Without getting too much noise. Some of your other video's have a slightly odd sound character, not annoying at all, but a lot of highs, not a lot of mids and a little muffled. So I'd say this is quite an improvement. I wouldn't change a thing.

Hmm I remember those memory boards. IIRC I had 1 MB onboard the motherboard of my first PC, an AMD 386 SX40 & got hold of a second hand memory board with 2 MB onboard. It was quite an advanced one, it could be used as EMMS or XMS & IIRC had space for 4 MB RAM. Felt really flash with my 3MB Ram.
Kept it for a while, but had to get rid of it when I moved to the UK.

I love watching your unpacking videos, iI actually binge watch those, t's so amazing what people will send but I have a question what do you do with all the keyboards and the extras that you already have? I'm going to bring over a bunch of stuff that I have had sitting in my closet for years because I don't live that far from you! Great job keep it Up!

- 10: 17 I had this game! And I NEVER could get it to work properly!
I could take off and fly, but that was about it. When I would try to change positions it would glitch all over the place, and if I kept trying, it would crash.
I really wish I could have got it to work properly because it really looked like an awesome game.

Wow the original Starflight. I have SF2 but not that. Loved it on Genesis back in the day. Seeing these old 90's era big box games takes me back. Makes me sad a bit missing those times but its great to see them.
I was 18 and met my future wife in 87 when that flight stick thing came out.
I kinda still miss ISA slot: )
