You should have picked up that Expert Software Labels disc, since no one else would have bought it. I have a bit of nostalgia for such off-brand office software from the mid-90s, and it could be a subject for a dedicated LGR video. I remember getting a copy of Expert Personal Publisher for my birthday one year, and it was a surprisingly decent desktop publishing tool. if you could work around the occasional bugs that popped up. There were many companies that put out shovelware like this such as Expert, Cosmi, and RomTech.

THOSE PRICES ARE RIDICULOUS! Love shopping at the thrift stores but the wholes store is a hit or miss, some of them set realistic prices then others tend to forget its poor people that shop there and want to charge full price for something. I have saw thrift stores with stuff that was higher priced than it would be at walmart new. and they get these things donated to them its really sad. some of there managers that do the pricing should be ashamed of themselves.

Here in California that SK-1 would have been worth it at 7 even with the costs of troubleshooting and repairs. They send those now to auction like most good items here. You have to have an amazingly lucky day to find anything worth a damn thrifting, as well as specifically in the Bay Area. Too many people looking to turn things on eBay even in 2020

I totally had that keyboard, and the same thing happened to it. Barely stayed powered on and looked like it was a lot more fun than it was when you actualy started to play it. What a flash back, I recognized the buttons display on that thing right away as it made me remember hurling it across the room, when it wouldn-t work. haha

You should have got that Casio sampling keyboard. That era of Casio sampling gear is worth some money. The sampling drum machine is worth many hundreds, saw one for sale for near $800. Even if it-s not working properly get it for parts. Someone will buy it from you leaving a profit in your pocket.

Wow, I used to have that same Tascam 4-track recorder system before my Mafia-connected landlord stole it from me! It was great for recording cassette-based noise music. It wasn't too great for anything else, but for noise it worked awesomely! I made a couple of unlistenable albums on that bad boy!

Seems like Spring is always a good time to go thrifting. Its the end of the corporate fiscal year, Spring cleaning, and all sorts of things that will re-fill those thrift stores with tons of interesting goodies, or in my case, cheap computer stuff.

Love your videos Clint that Jvc karaoke machine I use to use back in the day when I did disco and karaoke in a pub the Jolly Miller in Warwick before I moved to crappy Blackpool over 8 years ago. Keep up your great videos been watching for years -

I like the LGR extended universe featuring Tech Moan and Brutalmoose. Also funny that you mention Tech Moan and then right after, right next to the CD drive, there's that egg McMuffin maker he reviewed once during his kitchen escapades.

I have a question if you have a sealed game would you keep it pristine or would you open it and play it? I always feel bad opening an old sealed product but I am of the view point its made to be played and enjoyed so I do it anyway.
