Those BEZELS, haha. Playing FS2020 on three CRTs using Nvidia Surround on Windows 10. They're displaying a whopping 3072x768 resolution at 60hz using Displayport to VGA adapters. Yeah I'm gonna do a full review of the sim as well, this is just a bit of fun! ksp1278: Too bad MS FS doesn't properly support multimonitors. Only way to do this is to trick it that you have one really wide screen by using nVidia surround. The two side screens look very distorted because of this.

By the way, how good are those DP-VGA adapters? I know between graphics cards the VGA output quality varies absurdly, if you don't have a good cable, output and monitors, it looks like total ghost ridden trash, specially most motherboard VGAs, had to install a crappy GT 210 on a uni PC to have a decent VGA out for the projectors used.
Nvidia cards do have pretty freaking great VGA outputs, at least my GTX 550 Ti had, didn't try the one on my GTX 960 yet cause the only DVI adapter I have is a weird one with a digital connector, so I have no idea what that even does actually. I'm 100% sure you know that (but eh, adding in case anyone else benefits from it) but you can add a secondary graphics card as output-only, no processing.
Also: best way to end the video

Glad I'm not the only crazy person. Did this with three used 21- Trinitrons using a Matrox Triple-Head-2-Go or whatever, but I played Unreal and handful of others whose config files I could tweak for the resolution and FOV. Obviously it was awesome. =) Also used the NVIDIA 3D glasses you had to plug in with NFS Porche Unleashed and Elder Scrolls III, which was. interesting.

This is my dream, I want to do something like this so bad! Maybe I-ll try getting the original Doom to run on 3 monitors since it definitely had support for that at one point. Sadly for now I only own 2 CRTs and 1 is half broken but some day I-m gonna recreate this.

Out of interest, have you spent much time repairing these? I've a couple of -really- old monitors in my attic, including an Amstrad that hasn't been used in over 2 decades. I'm assuming all the caps have dried out and will have to be replaced.

Ya that was cool! Then you put one above to see up! We played WW2 online that way! Then put a 72in. TV behind you! Then when your in a dog fight! It worked fringing awesome! In stead of changing views you just looked behind you! -

Hey Clint, between yourself and Techmoan you've really help myself through a hard time during the pandemic. If I can take anything from this shitty situation is that you've taught me so much. Thank you.

The -crash- at the end was a weird mix of terrifying and hilarious because of the graphical fidelity and the way the plane just sort of went -flump- and flipped over when it hit the ground

After a minute or so my brain started removing those thick borders and it seemed more and more like just a wider view. The cross-screen offset vs cutoff didn't even bother me.

I love the rollover in the end - almost as if the Duke kills himself with the rocket launcher AFTER disposing the enemies: -. Sort of -signature move-, now in FS2020, too; -.
