Let me start out by saying that I really liked Kraven the Hunter
That being said, can you really call these movies the Spider Man universe if Spider Man isn't IN them
The reason why these characters worked in the comics is because he actually fought them, they were his villains. They aren't supposed to be anti-heroes
Like he did with Mysterio in Far From Home
Even Madame Web can't work without Spider Man, Nor the 3 girls. Hell, they only appeared in costume twice, and that was dream sequences
Venom worked because he BECAME a hero in the comics, first with Eddie Brock, and then Flash Thompson
Morbius became an antihero, but I don't think that he could work on his own and the movie was garbage

I am so tired of this. It doesn't earn $300 million the first day, so it is a flop. I actually liked Morbius and Madame Web and though I have not seen Kraven yet, the trailer and recap look good. Movies, like books and music are subjective, just because one person doesn't like it, it doesn't mean that others won't. Watch the movie for yourself, if you don't like it, fine, you only gave up two hours (more or less) of your life, but at least you will actually have something to base your opinion on and not be a sheep, like so many others around the world.

I am so tired of this. It doesn't earn $300 million the first day, so it is a flop. I actually liked Morbius and Madame Web and though I have not seen Kraven yet, the trailer and recap look good. These critic pans are so divisive, because let's be honest, I wanted to watch Kraken, but my 3 closest cinemas only show it once a day after 9pm. It feels like all these movies that get a bad wrap aren't nearly as backed as much worse films which are wholly supported. I couldn't even find many issues with Black Adam, but as soon as a movie gets a little bad news, audiences just avoid. Especially considering how expensive going out is these days. I'm sure this will be another one that gets a huge streaming audience

Concord, Madame Web, Kraven the hunter, Harold and the Purple Crayon, A Journal For Jordan. Hotel Trasylvania: Transformania. Father Stu. Morbius, 65 and Dumb Money. thats a lot of projects that lost a ton of money. Fact is, Concord alone would have sunk most companies.

No, Sony pretty much killed themselves, Morbius was the firs5 sigh Madame Web it was failing, and Kraven, well, it's not failing its failed. Did they even have a 5 to 10 year plan, and why call it the Sony Spider-Man Universe and not have a Spider-Man movie

Kraven ain't even a hero it's cool one of Spiderman greatest rivals got a movie tho. Both Madam Webb and Kraven are amazing films. People are just ignorant and love judging instead of enjoying the films. I judge those who judge lmao

I really can't understand the collective hate for this film, it's better than Morbius, Madame and the last 2 Venom flicks. and because they were so shit, this got autocrapped on when it was way more entertaining than the others

Morbius and Madame Web killed the franchise. Kraven isn't as bad as them, but never had a shot. It was dead on arrival, because of their mistakes.
