As a giant fan of Stephen Kings masterpiece, The IT mini-series is half-assed adaptation, Tim Curry was the only redeeming part of the movie, even then he made his own interpretation of Pennywise, Pennywise was depicted to be disgusting, Pervy, and flat out creepy, he would crack jokes here and there just because he is a clown, but other than that, this year's adaptation of IT will most likely be a smashing success, and for those of you that disagree with that, obviously are pretentious normies that are blinded by nostalgia, or you plain out never read the book.

Lol anyone notice how unoriginal hollywood is now? Literally none of these movies are origional, there just remakes of old movies, with the exception of GOTG 2, but even thats a second installment.
I guess I forgot the jake gylenhall space movie, but even that martian thing getting a mind of its own and killing the crew sounds like so many space movie monsters (2001 a space oddity)

I'm sorry, I don't know anyone who isn't afraid of clowns! At first I refused to see IT as soon as the movie stills were first released in 2016, but after watching the trailer a few (or 20) times and watching the miniseries with Tim Curry, I'm actually excited for IT. Even though I know for a fact that I am NOT seeing it by myself and will go with a group
